THE EXPLORER
We were in Guilford and Madison for a few days visiting old friends and seeing the sights. One night, we decided to go back to B&W to have dinner. We have been here many times over the years and the food was always great. Tonight we had the Arizona panini and a grilled veg wrap. Both were excellent. All employees are very nice and the place is very clean. Always busy.

Good food, terrible wait times for pickup items. We ordered 30 minutes ahead of time and still waited an extra 30 minutes once we got there. That's unacceptable. It seemed like they had plenty of workers, but were really backed up.
Updated 7/20: decided to try again. This time I didn't order ahead. I ordered in restaurant. 17 minutes in line, I witnessed a knife drop on the floor and somebody rinsed the knife in a hand washing sink. The food is good, but the experience isn't.

This place has the best chicken cutlet Caesar wrap I have ever had. So good that I have had it over a dozen times and still have not tried anything else off their menu even though it looks so good as well. The price is competitive and the wait time is reasonable when you call they always let you know if it's very busy. I wish there were more of these restaurants around CT bc Madison is far for me so I only go when I'm in the area.

absolutely love everything i havr tried here and its a shame i cant give it more than 5 stars. If you are considering here and think its too far for you i highly suggest you take the drive. My only dissappointment i have ever had is not being able to get any recipies from them.
I want to give this place 5 stars but the reason I don’t is due to cleanliness and preparedness. I arrived at 9:30 (opens at 9 on saturdays) so we could bring subs to the beach and it seemed like nothing was ready to be prepped or opened. I wanted to order two wraps, both had chicken which the young blond with curley hair said was not prepared yet. I picked two different sandwiches, no big deal- even though most of their wraps and subs have chicken. None of the grills were on yet- so she said it would take time for them to warm up for my wrap to be ready. I watched her wear the same gloves from when I came in- to making the sandwiches, to answering the phone, checking me out at the register, making cookies while I waited for my pressed wrap- still wearing the same gloves to finish prepping the sub and even making coffee 🤢 Gloves should be changed when preparing something new.

Not the same. Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 slices pizza. No salt, no flavor on the 27 chic cutlet. My daughter had the 38 fish sandwich. Disappointing. Pizza was a 4. Will not return. Was always our stop on the way to the beach. Outdoor tables covered in bird droppings. Gross. The whole place felt dirty andsloppy. We'll move on.
