The food and crew are all ?? Had the fried oysters, clam strips and the chickin tendys with fries in a bag. The best go-to after the beach. The crew there was so helpful too when placing a phone order when I’m sure their busy.

Four of us ate lunch here on 9/1/23. The food ranged from poor (the lobster rolls were over cooked, rubbery and overpriced) to OK the caesar salads were OK to very good the fried scallops were very good. There was plenty of parking, inside seating and some picnic tables to sit at outside. You order pay, then pick up your order and finally bus your own table. We would not eat here again. The Lobster Landing was much better and less expensive.

I was hesitant to try this place because the menu felt so off to me. But I'm so glad I did. I got clam strip platter but subbed onion rings for fries. Clam strips were fresh and fried perfectly. Onion rings were freshly made and salty and crispy! Husband got soft shell crab dinner and he said they were prepared excellently! I really enjoyed the tarter as well. It was slightly thicker than most snd had excellent flavor w just enough pickle crunch. We sat outside on picnic tables covered by a pavilion. Inside has some seating snd us setup for fast casual dining. Service was friendly and fast! And I ended up w churros for dessert even though I originally thought the menu was so funny! We will definitely be back

I went here on a date and we both got the filet mignon tacos and lobster tails. It is a small, great place where you can sit on picnic tables outside. Definitely a good alternative to try instead of Lenny and Joe's!

I remember going to Clam Castle as a kid, teenager and young adult. It was always a dive, but food was good and inexpensive. Took my family there last week when back in Madison. It's still a dive and food is OK, but prices are crazy. For three of us to sit on dirty picnic tables outside, eat fried food and have to bus our own tables it was well over $60 without any drinks! The food was good, not great and included a lot of delicious fries. Generic ketchup in tiny packets was a true pain. Cole slaw and tarter sauce were nothing special. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful when ordering. She even brought our food out to our table in the parking lot when our buzzer went off. Overall, things change and expectations need to be held in check. For the money, I think there are better options.

First time back since they added Mexican food. Never again! Worst soft shell crab I've ever had. Breading too much and very salty. Rhode island chowder also salty and potatoes were soggy. Go across the street if you want good seafood.

Been going here for 50 years, last week my wife brought home fried clams and lobster bisque for dinner. The clams were overly fried and greasy , the bisque was so salty that it had to thrown out. Next time we’ll just go across the street where it is consistent.

Stopped in for lunch. My wife and i both got a basic Hummel's dog. They were cooked just right on a toasted bun. Fries were hot and tasty. However i would like to see some additional condiments on the table. Service was quick and friendly.

My husband and I are really rooting for the new owner and hope this business succeeds. We have gone several times this season, including the first week it was open. The service has gotten a bit better and so has the food, but we are still encountering issues. The clam chowder (both New England and Rhode Island) has improved greatly since week 1, but we had extremely salty Rhode Island clam chowder yesterday. I ordered a blackened shrimp cesar salad for the first time, which was delicious, but the shrimp was raw on the inside. My husband repeatedly orders the tacos with a corn tortilla and they continue to be very hard to eat, breaking easily. We will go again and I very much hope to update this review positively but wanted to leave feedback for the owner.

I was nervous about coming here after ownership changed, but the clam strips are just as good as ever! However, they're definitely more expensive than they used to be. Fries were good too, although they cheaped out on the ketchup with off-brand packets that didn't taste so great.
