Ordered takeout and it was spectacular. Five spice prawns were absolutely delicious. Lightly fried and cooked to perfection. Vegetables were cooked but still crunchy. Basil chicken was really good. Chicken was super tender. We ordered at the counter and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. The two hostesses at the counter could not have been nicer.

I really enjoyed Jia Mei. I was looking forward to eating noodles and they didn't disappoint. Serving sizes were large and tasty. The Singapore noodles were my favorite, flavored with aromatic curry, neither dry nor wet. The beef was tender and juicy in the pad Thai. The General Tso's chicken was sweet and crispy. The dumplings were homemade and the sauce they were served with complemented the beef perfectly. Service was prompt and efficient, starting with a glass of rose wine I ordered, which was mellow, not overly sweet at all. The place is newly renovated and comfortable for sit in meals. The price is great, inflation friendly! I would recommend Jia Mei to anyone who appreciates quality Chinese food.

Ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken dinners plus one chicken fried rice. It was the worst chicken I have ever received from a restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken had two pieces that were tender and edible from two dinners. The chicken seemed old and tough. We thought it might be over cooked but the batter was not over cooked. I would like to get my money back. The fried rice was not as good as usual.

Food was very good. I ordered a beef dish, and the meat was tender, and the sauce was tasty. Friendly service. I will return!

I can fully say this is the best general tso’s chicken I’ve ever had. The dumplings were clearly homemade and delectable. The pork fried rice was so flavorful with real Asian style pork bits. Wish we had places like this in Florida. Quality all the way through!

We live ordering take out from Jia Mei. It’s always ready in 15-20 minutes, piping hot, and delicious.

After seeing it was named among the best Asian restaurants on the shoreline we were very disappointed. The dishes had too much sauce and just did not taste top notch in the opinion of everyone in my family. Sorry to disagree with other reviewers, if you have eaten in New York's Chinatown you would recognize the difference.

Great food. I especially love the fried rice and the Fish Filet in Black Bean sauce. I almost always order to go, but they have upgraded the dining room as well.
