Terrible experience. Over booked for the number of staff. Was seated 40 minutes after reservation. Food was slow out of the kitchen. Beef was tepid, chicken was ice cold. Didn’t send meals back because it took too long to get. The meals were not worth the $200+ we were charged. My wife and I usually eat dinner at The Wharf two times a year. Not sure it is worth the hour and a half round trip.

For my first time going to The Wharf, it did not disappoint at all. The ambience of the place is beautiful, so I could only imagine how wonderful it would be during the summer. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive when it came to getting orders in, and honestly couldn't have been any better. My girlfriend and I decided to split the crab cakes first, then she got the sea scallops and I got the short rib. Honestly, all three of these entrees delivered on all fronts, whether that was taste or presentation. What was the cherry on top for such a grand and delightful experience was the dessert we ordered, which was their pumpkin cheesecake. The fact that it was shaped like an actual pumpkin made my jaw drop but in the best way. If you want to go somewhere elegant and fancy, this might be the place to go to.

Always enjoy our lunches by the water. Excellent job on the patio heating, able to eat there in December! Always enjoy the clam chowder and their specialty bourbon cocktails.

Christmas Eve price fixed menu with wine pairings. $150 I chose New England Clam chowder winter greens salad, filet and bouche de Noel. Food was good not great. Chowder was an 8/10 needed more clam flavor. Winter greens were good vinegrete tasty. Tenderloin was on the rarer side of med/rare and on the cool side of warm. Peppercorn glace was good. Bouche Noel was good but dey 2.white wines and a zinfandel. The zin was good. Server did not id the vintage nor the winery It almost seemed like the chef had the day off and a sous was left with insti and execution wasn't there

We had the most amazing brunch here on Sunday. The staff were wonderful and the place is beautiful! The views of the water are breathtaking. It was so peaceful. We were also pleasantly surprised by the bill. Very fairly priced for the service and high quality food. The lobster eggs Benedict had a very generous amount of lobster and it was served with bread fresh out of the oven. This is definitely a MUST try place for a taste of luxury without spending a fortune!
