My husband and I had been very much looking forward to our Thanksgiving buffet. Our reservation was for 4pm and we were promptly seated in a nice quiet location with a beutiful view of the water. We were attended to promptly by our waitress Maureen and drinks arrived soon after. We went to get some appetizers at which point I noticed that most of the food on the buffet looked like it had been sitting around for hours and worst of all, all the hotdishes looked picked over with little left in them. I was looking forward to a shrimp cocktail, but they had run out of shrimp. I helped myself to some of the butternut squash soup as well as some coldcuts and crackers. Unfortunately, the soup was overly spiced and lukewarm. The crakcers had gotten soggy. We went and got our turkey, which was excellent as well as the beef which was not just rare, but raw in the center, thus not so good. The stuffing was tasteless, other than an overbearing herb-like flavoring. Just like the stuffing it was luke warm. The dessert table was really very nice and both of us enjoyed the little pumpkin and apple tarts as well as the chocolate treat. Coffee A+, both the decaf and regular. So needless to say, I was extremely disappointed, especially given the exhorbitant price, I left feeling cheated. I do want to emphasize that the staff was superior. Attentive but not overly so, basically just right. I had expected more from the food, we have eaten at the Wharf many times, and it has always been very nice. This time you missed the mark!

I would recommend the Thanksgiving buffet. The food is delicious and plentiful and the service is great. It is noisy with a lot of people but that can't be helped in a busy place. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. J Chapman

My fiancé & I consider The Wharf our “go to” restaurant for special occasions, very accommodating staff. The only issue was with the parking. We both are wheelchair users & it's frustrating when the valets park in the spots designated for wheelchair users.

Excellent location. Met the manager prior and had a glass of wine with him. Very nice person. Sat on the heated porch, could hear the ocean. Food was good. They apparently have a lobster roll that is very good, however it wasn't in the menu and I a daily special so they server never mentioned it. He was very quirky and seemed to enjoy his job or played it very well I really wanted to try roll as I'm unsure if we will be back. Oh well. Other than it was great.

Our service and food at the bar were both excellent. Mike and Tia were great servers and bartenders and we enjoyed their company along with the tuna tartare and shrimp cocktail. The dining room was also lovely and we enjoyed our steak very much but felt it should have come with some more veg or potatoes for $63. Didn't love the autumn salad as the beets were underdone. All else great.

We thought the lobster bisque was watery and the mussels were a little cold but got better when we ran the juice over them a bit. Entrees were ok. Nothing to write home about. Breakfast was good. If we went back I'd have dinner somewhere else but would stay for the breakfast.

Our sincere disappointed with both of our entrees brought our total experience to just fair. Cocktails were excellent, very good staff and very courteous, but the quality of the food, presentation of the food on the plate and value, brought our experience to a lower level than we expected and would have liked.

Food was overpriced for what it was. They do have a beautiful spot on the water but I'll be hesitant to go back

Good was great; deck was great. There was a group of women who were unfortunately too loud. Service wasn't as good as it usually is. It's still one of my favorite places, esp on the deck on a warm night.

Sat on the porch for lunch on a beautiful day. The food was very good. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. I would definitely go back, especially to enjoy the view and the atmosphere.

The setting is splendid. The service and food were not While I appreciate timely service over 2 hours to receive our orders is far from timely. Especially when someone that showed up after you gets served prior to you. My cassasoulet was dried and my companions food was cool at best.

Pan seared chilean bass $38.00 green lentils ragout, carrots, crisp, lemon brown butter sauce This is how the menu read, we received the lentils and the Chilean sea bass but no carrots when we asked the waitress she said she's been serving this and she's never seen it come with carrots she would check the menu no she came back and said that the chef is making us carrots kind of weird cuz we've been eating here forever and this has never happened before I don't know what the chef was doing but he definitely dropped the ball on that one

I had the pleasure of dining at The Wharf this weekend, and I can confidently say it's one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Nestled on the water , it's a cozy yet modern spot that's perfect for relaxing. The attention to detail in every dish was clear, and I loved that they used seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. I'd highly recommend The Wharf to anyone looking for a memorable meal with top-notch service. Can't wait to return!

Restaurant was out of half of the menu. Said it was due to change of menu but was probably due to large event on the lawn.

If you are looking for a beautiful view, you definitely should dine outside on the porch at the Wharf Restaurant. If you are looking for really good food, don't go here. The food is average to below average and the prices are high.
