What’s Cookin! My absolute favorite spot for a bacon egg and cheese on the shoreline. The cheese is melted, crispy bacon, soft bread. I can’t get enough of these sandwiches. I order 2-3 each time I go. Magnificent. As a bacon egg and cheese connoisseur- 5 stars. Also - Gale is amazing! So kind and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this establishment!
I reached out to Gayle for a baby shower I was hosting. Gayle also had helped me last summer with a picnic, so I knew I was in good hands. Right from the start, Gayle guided me through the process. I was in a pickle for 4th of July week—two days before the holiday we realized we’d have 40 people to feed! I frantically called around to every catering business in driving distance to CT, and everyone basically laughed at me. Except Gail from What’s Cooking! She said she could hear the panic in my voice and graciously offered to prepare food for the party, AND go in the morning of the holiday so I could pick the trays up still warm! I mean, talk about customer service!!!...
