Stopped in here yesterday for the first time. They expanded their hours so that is awesome for me to be able to grab dinner on the way home from work. Got the roast beef sandwiches, fries and slaw. Everything was SO good. We will be regulars, for sure. The slaw might beat Shady Glen’s 😳, for me. Give it a shot if you haven’t already!

The Hidden Kitchen at Hilliard Mills offers an array of seasonings and spices. The side salad has very fresh ingredients and is huge. The pulled pork bowl is two servings for someone with a huge appetite. The bahn mi sandwich and mojo pork bowl are next level good. The roast beef sandwiches, fries and slaw are SO good. The slaw might beat Shady Glen’s. Dishes are incredibly fresh, packed with flavor, and thoughtfully crafted. The location is modest, but the chef’s elite culinary background shines through in every bite. The owner is very affable and approachable. The presentation and taste of the food are amazing. There are plenty of salad and sandwich choices as well as side dishes and soups. There are a few dessert options. The carrot cake is phenomenal. Portion sizes are large. Most people will have to get a to-go container. There can be more seats and tables. The inside could use some color and pictures from around the world. The front of the building still looks industrial. This place is definitely great and has gone off to a very strong start. An absolute must-visit.
