Horrible customer service/ they didn’t care about my food allergies. . .

My wife bought a cake (midnight delight) yesterday for my birthday. Kept it in the freezer. Today after dinner we took it out to celebrate l asked why no Happy Birthday? She said they don't write on the signature cakes. Really?, 5 minutes out of the freezer and the chocolate sides started sliding off but I couldn't cut into the rock solid cake. By the time I was able to get a piece, the cake was a mess. The sides were melted off the top was sliding off the cake and a puddle of ice cream all over the table. $52.00 for this cake, definitely not worth the money, and the mess. Very disappointed!! Next time we will get a Carvel cake.

On 8/4/25, I was disappointed with the Meriden Cold Stone Creamery. The ice cream was very soft not hard as it should be. They need to be better prepared. 3 out of 4 of us got a rash a rash on our lips. There must be some kind of sanitary issue going on.

We came to this location to try the new Taco sandwich, we asked the lady and we were told they don’t do that, while there was a huge sticker on the window. We ended up settling for some small cups of ice cream as my 4 year old was now upset. You shouldn’t advertise it if you don’t do it.

I got one medium cup ice cream, and one small cup ice cream, and she charged me as two mediums, which is disappointing .. The ice cream is good. We liked it. but it’s pricey a bit.

Definitely waste of money. Ice cream given to me was melting, 7.99 for a melted cream and few nuts on the top totally worthless. Waffles were thin as a chips. Believe other's review about melting cream and don't waste your money here. "Cold Stone" was supposed to be on the cold stone not the warm to melt it. I would get better quality from Walmart or Target freezers.

I honestly thought the store was closed at first because the parking lot was completely empty. Haven’t been in a while, and boy was I disappointed when I saw the changes under the new ownership. The prices were outrageous and no longer include unlimited mix ins. It would have cost $15 or more for one ice cream if I got the toppings I wanted, so we ended up going to Sweet Claude’s in Cheshire, which was wonderful.
