number one Puerto Rican restaurant in town. ? people to have their opinions but where I come from and how I was raised with my Puerto Rican father this is the flavor that you're looking for if you were raised Puerto Rican or at least fed Puerto Rican food majority of your life LOL
I tasked my husband to come here and pick up some food for lunch. We got the jibarito and mofongo. I guess there was a language barrier because he came home unhappy with them laughing at him, and I'm confused how he managed to come home with 2 orders of mofongo? Not sure how that happened haha. The mofongo were pretty good and the jibarito sandwich was yummy. Good prices for lunch. We ordered a beef stew, a jibarito and a few bacalaitos(codfish fritters). Everything was yummy. The jibarito was the best thing we ordered by far. The taste of the sandwich was out of this world. The owner was kind and friendly. It's a small restaurant and a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I left feeling so happy and full. They had alcapurrias, empanadas, and other goodies in a case. I'll try these on my next visit.
