Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe Reviews
The quality of the food and service in the Meriden location has slowly but surely declined over the past year, but it wasn’t until this afternoon that I had to walk out after waiting for far too long while next in line with only two customers in front of me and what appeared to be a full crew behind the counter. If this continues to be a trend, I will have to consider whether it is worth visiting again.
Both my sandwiches I ordered this evening were wrong. This is the second time in a row you’ve screwed up my order. This once excellent place seems to have fallen on “our employees don’t care to make a proper order”. For $30 for two sandwiches this is highly unacceptable. Grazie.

Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe in Meriden warmly welcomes customers with a variety of delicious options, including veggie sandwiches and fresh chicken caesar salads. The plant-based cold cuts have impressed out-of-town visitors, who enjoyed the tasty regular plant sub and the chicken cutlet sandwich. The chop salad has also received praise. Many customers appreciate the vegan combo grilled wrap with roasted red peppers, which can be customized to avoid unwanted ingredients, making it a versatile choice. The carpaccio and prosciutto-style vegan deli slices are notably tender and flavorful, with some being imported from Italy. Although there are some mixed feelings about the vegetarian "cold cut combo," the restaurant provides great options for non-meat eaters. While the prices are considered high, many agree that the quality of the food justifies it. The store maintains a clean environment, and the friendly service, along with the wheelchair-accessible entrance, makes this a place worth visiting regularly for locals.
