“I have nothing but rave reviews for the 1741 Pub & Grill. I had never visited before and was very impressed with the presentation of the dining room. The wait staff were congenial, pleasant and wonderful and accommodating. The menu was outstanding and the best Valentine's Day experience I have ever had. I was so pleased with the food, the experience and the venue. I will wholeheartedly come back if you should do this again next year. Thank you for a great experience!!“

“Great little place place. Menu is there for all to see. They offer what they brew and some other local companies beverages. Went in a Saturday night for a quick stop to listen to a local duo playing some cover music. Food is not offered but there are local menus in a book that you can order from and have delivered. Or you can just walk a few hundred feet to one of several local restaurants. Great area for a small pub crawl.“

“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. We’ll be back.“

“Service was on the slow side, however the dining area was busy. My chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy, and I would definitely order it again. However the $1.50 for the up charge on french fries was not worth it. The fries were soggy, limp and unseasoned.It wasn't all bad. Like I said I really enjoyed my beer and my chicken sandwich.Parking: Nice new looking building but parking seems limited.“

“This place is fire. Came in and they have sick decor and trivia night The menu has so many wing sauces and they fell off the bone. And OMG the pretzels are fire. The waiters were also super nice and down to earth. It was pretty cheap and will prob come back tomorrow. 10/10 come here.“

“We went out for a post Valentine's day meal. They were a bit short staffed, but we really couldn't tell because they all worked as a team to ensure we were well taken care of. Sydney, Gina, and Linda all checked on us throughout the course of the evening to make sure our drinks stayed flowing and we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and the ambiance we perfect!. Thank you... we'll see you all again soon.“

“Don't hesitate entering this old, funky, funny and warm pub! The eclectic tunes match the varied CT and nationwide brews, which in turn complements the hearty meals. If you haven't stopped in since you were dating, you'll probably find your initials still in the table or wall. The friendly bar and the creative kitchen will make you punch in your next visit date into your phone before you leave!“

“Great American casual food.Stopped for a quick lunch on the way down to NY. The lamb harissa burger was fantastic. The patty was super tender, and the flavor was strong. The harissa was mixed in the meat, so it wasn't too strong. The meat was juicy, and it was just great overall. I got the side of tater tots, and they were very enjoyable as well.Nice quick stop if you're in the area.Parking: Huge lot.“
