The ice cream was fantastic. I've never had rolled ice cream before and I would absolutely do it again. However the poor girl behind the counter was trying her best. There was no customers when we went in and soon after it was packed. There really should have been atleast 3 people working with the cruise night and all. She was doing her best so I absolutely don't fault her the time it took to make the ice cream. Definitely go for the ice cream but expect a wait.
Took 30 minutes to make 3 drinks, workers just talking and yelling at eachother. Told my friend they couldn’t find the button to get her a small so they made her get a large
Very cool experience!! so good!

I have been going to this place for all 4 years of college. So far, I’ve had moderate to good experiences. The ice cream is usually fine, but I’ve heard people working yelling at each other. But tonight really soured my opinion of this place. Not only did I order my ice cream and not get it until 50 minutes after i ordered it, by the time i did get it, it was extremely poor quality. I ordered a rolled ice cream; i would never pay $13 for ungimicky ice cream. But this! Was just mush! No pieces properly rolled. The guy making the ice creams was obviously extremely high, and the other woman working spent like 15 minutes cutting mangos instead of taking orders and letting the guy work on the ice cream. I really wanted to graduate having a good opinion about this place, but this night completely changed my perspective on the establishment as a whole. Clearly major management changes need to be made, because 50 minutes for one ice cream is absurd
Came here for the first time in 10 years and was extremely disappointed by the decline in quality. The atmosphere was lacking energy (quiet, no music), and, they rarely make the ice cream fresh for you anymore. Several of our party was served out of the fridge from ice cream made earlier. The price point does not reflect ice cream served out of the fridge. That being said, the ice cream itself was still good.
I just went to pick up a DoorDash order, and it was a very unpleasant experience. I think there were 3 employees there, and another lady who seemed to be a manager because she was yelling at the others. They hadn’t started making the order, and didn’t start it for 10 mins or so after I arrived, despite there not being a single other customer there. Waited at least 15 mins for 2 ice creams that had been ordered 20 mins prior to my arrival. I will absolutely not be returning, as a customer or a driver.
I came here today and the ice cream was good but the owner was being extremely rude to her employee and screaming at him in front of everyone making it an extremely uncomfortable situation. So unprofessional
Don't come on a Sunday, theres only one person working and they will serve the pre-made ice cream and add toppings ect to multiple people who came in after you. He told us it would be 20 minutes and it took 1 hour!! It's a terrible system, they need more employees. Not worth the wait. Not fair to the employee or customers. Keep reading other reviews, . I'm never going here ever again.
The ice cream was good, but the service was terrible. We had a party of 5 and each of us ordered ice cream. Two of them were pre-made so we only needed three orders made. There were several people behind us that ordered. There was only one person working, and he decided to make the orders for the people behind us first. He made one person's cookies and cream order who had ordered like three people behind us. When he called them for their order, even they were confused and were like "are you sure?". When I asked the worker about it, he said "They only had one order so I figured it would be faster."
He made one of our ice-creams, but then stopped to make another customer's tea who had ordered after us. This pattern continued throughout our order. He would stop with our order and make another customer's tea, even if they had just walked in! We were waiting a very long time, almost an hour.
When I complained to him afterwards that we shouldn't have to wait on others orders who ordered after us, he said it was policy and managers told him to make the teas even if someone else ordered ice-cream. Not a very good policy! It's very frustrating as a customer to see other people's orders completed who have ordered after you, especially when you've already been waiting a while.
We would not return this place.
EDIT: responding to manager's reply. No, the employee made a cookie monster flavor for a customer three people behind us. We did not have that flavor in our order. He literally said, "They had only one order so I figured it would be faster." If you don't have a policy about making people's tea before icecream, then where did the employee get that idea? He very explicity stated managers have told him to make tea for customers behind a big icream order (and, frankly, three icecream orders isn't very big!). You correctly identified this experience wasn't our problem, which we appreciate. However, you've had many many reviews identifying slow service as an issue, and it apparently continues to be a problem. We do not recommend this place for ice-cream since the service is not good.

The day before Thanksgiving, we were in the area and was craving ice cream. All the ice cream shops nearby were closed, so we opted for this Thai ice cream place. Thai ice cream is a mixture of sweet liquid, poured onto a very cold pan, and then rolling it with a spatula; toppings can be added after.
On this visit, we got a Thai tea boba tea and a cookie monster rolled iced cream. The employee was nice but he didn't mention that the rolled ice cream was premade and already in the fridge until after we paid. We wanted my children to see them make it because it's unique but I'm assuming they were short staffed, that is why it was premade. There was one other customer in front of us. The overall wait took quite a long time though.
The Thai iced tea came out first and it was bland, the flavor was mild and I could barely taste the Thai tea flavor. The color wasn't the usual bright orange I normally see. After another wait, we got our cookie monster ice cream which is Oreo cookie flavored, it was in the fridge the whole time; we were able to get three toppings for it. My child enjoyed it. I'm not sure why it took so long since it was already premade.
A large group of people came in after us, the employee was about to take their orders before giving us our order, thankfully, they were still deciding so he started working on our order. I understand it's a day before a holiday and there was only one employee, but we did pay full price to have the same experience as it it was another regular day. Overall, the wait, the flavor of the boba tea, and the ice cream being premade, made the experience below average, so I gave it 2 stars.

I lived in Middletown for a year, and I have to say that the Taro Milk Tea from 0 Degrees is the best I’ve ever had. However, my experience with customer service has been very unfortunate during my last visits. I would ask for my tea without sugar, and the person taking my order would question whether I had even tried the tea before or if I knew exactly how much sugar they added. Because of this, I’ve decided to order through Grubhub for pick-up, just because I don’t feel comfortable with the way one of their staff members treats customers. On another occasion, I was craving tea and invited my friends to the place, it was their first time trying it, and the person was not friendly at all and almost decided for my friend.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with her, but it would be good to work on improving customer service since you guys have already the best taro tea in Connecticut

Went yesterday to buy some ice cream, the milk they used wasn’t even liquid. It looked like jelly, and when we started eating it, it tasted rotten. They also got my order wrong.

Ice cream was good. Service was unacceptably awful. The woman training another employee dropped cups on the floor and then tried to serve them. She was on her phone texting while taking our order and I waited 35 minutes for my ice cream with no other customer in line.
cashier is trashy and works as slowly as possible, she answered a text in the middle of taking our order and was hanging out with her boyfriend that was just hanging in the store instead of working. she also dropped our cups on the ground multiple times and did not replace them.
