Amici Italian Grill

I used to be a regular for many years, but after what I experienced on September 26th, I will never go to them again because of terrible service. I placed an order for my entire family for pick up and when I got home, I was missing a meal. I called back and they said they would refund me. A week goes by and I get no refund so I call back. They say they will refund me but now it’s been over two weeks and they still haven’t refunded me. They can keep that money because I’m posting this review and warning others of their bad service

Our waitress was excellent! Super friendly and attentive, answered all our questions, and she was taking plates as we went so the table never filled up. Our food came out fast and we loved everything! We had the stuffed mushrooms, the eggplant parm panini, and the penne amici. It was all delicious. The waitress even refilled my drink without me having to ask. The bread was so good but the real star of the show was the olive oil! It was so good I had to ask the waitress what brand they used. I wanted to take the bottle home! ( I didn’t lol). The prices weren’t bad. There was a good range from 13-20+ so really not bad for 2025. I’d love to come back and try more of their menu.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I ALMOST LOST MY LIFE AN HOUR AGO BY HAVING A 3 INCH PIECE OF METAL LODGED IN MY THROAT FROM THEIR GRILL CLEANING TOOL. THESE SCUMBAGS OFFERED ME A FREE DRINK FOR TURNING PURPLE AND ALMOST LOSING CONSCIENCENESS. I'M IN TALKS WITH ATTORNEYS CURRENTLY. THESE PIECES OF TRASH ACTED LIKE ME ALMOST DYING MEANT NOTHING TO THEM BUT A COMPTED DRINK!!! WARNING!!! BEWARE!!!🤬🛑

The food was amazing! The staff were courteous and polite, but they weren't overly friendly. The portions were great!

We held our baby shower here at Amici Italian Grill in November 2024 after talking to many different restaurants, breweries, and other venues in CT. Our hostess and planner extraordinaire, Alyssa, was beyond accommodating and helpful in adapting the space and experience to our requests. The food was delicious and the service warm, welcoming, and all around superb. If you’re looking to book a private event with great food, ambiance, and at a fraction of a cost of the competition, you will not be disappointed with Alyssa and the whole team at Amici.

Had a 60th birthday party with 25 people. They did a fantastic job for an afternoon dinner/party. Peter was our host and he was fantastic. He is very down to earth, accommodating, and just all around enjoyable hosting us for the afternoon. Would definitely do that again. A great way to get the family together.

My boss took us all for a belated Christmas dinner. I had never been before. My girlfriend and I split the 2 meatball (softball size) appetizer. She had the broccoli Alfredo w tortellini and I had the garlic, rosemary pan seared new york strip. Everything from beginning to end was absolutely delicious! The cook on the steak (med rare) was spot on. We had a couple of cocktails and they were also made perfectly. I would recommend Amici Italian grill to anyone who wants a great dining experience. Unfortunately I cannot remember our servers name but she was so attentive and refilled water and drinks without ever asking once. She asked us. The prices were also very fair. Even though I did not pay, I noticed! We've all been having about our meals for 3 days since. Thank you to everyone at Amici Italian grill! We'll be back for sure!
