The calamari app and focaccia bread was great, all drinks were fantastic and shaken and served at the table. Portions for dinner were great and everyone at the table loved their meal!

Overall, Amici provides a wonderful experience on all categories. The atmosphere inside is wonderful and there is a great ambiance. When you sit they give you some bread, nothing special but a nice touch. The servings on the entrees were big and each entree comes with a side salad. We tried 3 entrees all were good but nothing incredible. I would definitely recommend this place. I think it provides one of best experiences and food out of the Italian restaurants on main street. Would be great for date night.

service has been excellent on each visit, very good portion sizes as well. We got the Penne ala vodka, salmon, French onion soup and chicken vegetable soup. Everything came out great.

Food was AMAZING and so was service! Amanda was amazing and very attentive. Loved the atmosphere and how beautiful the place was! The owner, Sam was very nice and welcoming as well. Definitely a must go in Middletown! I'll be here again. Best bolognese I've had in so long. Definitely looking forward to trying the steak!

Amici's very disappointed. When did the other night? I got food poisoning. I was in the emergency room 2 day They are using old meat and mixing it together with the new meet Guys be very careful. I went to a very bad experieareas this weekend. This place should be shut down.No less we spent $250. With 4 people and in the emergency room went by ambulance if Google 0 star that's what I would give them

Just ended up at Amici after many years having had good meals there. We were planning on eating at the Inn at Middletown but there was a forty minute wait. We had called ahead yesterday for reservations but they said not needed for a party of three! Actually the meal was probably better here. I had a special of the evening: Veal Tower. It was very delicious and the only veal on the menu. It came as a stack of veal, mushrooms, red peppers atop great mashed potatoes and excellent gorgonzola cheese. I finished the whole thing so no leftovers for tomorrow! Very good and attentive service in a crowded dining room.

Not good. Pasta fagioli was terrible. Chicken parm, lasagna and stuffed shells could be made at home... steak was $32 but literally a cheap sirloin... and our wine came after our dinner was serves. We told the waitress and then manager, nicely and they offered nothing. Don't waste your time or money.

Absolute top notch place. Salad and bread is really good. All dressings are homemade and atmosphere is really nice. Locals rave about this place and for good reason. Would be nice for a date if you are into that type of stuff.Kid-friendliness: Many customizable options

My daughter & myself walked in and looked at their menu for some time because there were so many yummy sounding dishes. We both chose dishes that required them to omit items as well as add items & they got our orders right the first time. I gotta say I just love their Tomato Cream Sauce that they make for pasta. You can get it in certain dishes. They also have make your own pasta & best of all you can get a side container of the Tomato Cream Sauce for only $4.00. I did & it was totally worth it because I ordered the Penne Augustino which is made with extra virgin olive oil & no reg sauce. I ate some the way it came & it was really good but when I added the tomato cream sauce to it I felt it made it really great. My daughter ordered the Penne Amici and loved it especially with extra tomato cream sauce. The prices were reasonable too because both dinners came with a small salad & some really good garlic bread, their own I believe because I've never seen or had before, we both added multiple items to our dishes & extra dressings for the salads. The portions of pasta are in the extra large round tinfoil containers with the domed lids and the salads come with let, grape tom, cuke, Italian black olives & red onion which I think is great for a free salad. Their balsamic, Parmesan peppercorn dressings were very good and their house to me tasted more like golden Italian which isn't my favorite but still ok cause I always mix the Italian with Parm pep or ranch if they don't have my fav creamy Italian which I'd eat like crazy. After getting all that just the way we like it my order total with tax was $50.45 which I feel was a decent price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. I'm also going to order food from there in the future and maybe even try to dine in.Vegetarian options: My dish Penne Augustino is a Vegetarian dish, they've got make your own pasta dish & have different veggies to choose from. Mine had artichoke hearts, Sun dried tomatoes, black olives, roasted red peppers, I omitted bread crumbs and added caramelized onions. Pasta Amici that my daughter had I said to the lady sounds really good but I don't eat sausage and she said you can omit it. So I believe you can tweak a lot of the meals to your vegetarian liking except the lasagna is made with hamburger and sausage that's why I didn't get the Italian combo.Parking: Just be careful & make sure that you have money in the meter as long as it says it's needed. Make sure also that your whole handicap pass can be seen date & all. I was called back to return to MPD & I always put my handicap pass in the cubby of my dashboard tucked in so police and whomever needs be will see just enough of the handicap guy to know that I'm handicapped & disabled but I don't want to advertise it to everyone. The last time I used to keep it out in the open hanging up on my rearview mirror someone stole my lifetime handicap permit and now I believe they're not giving lifetime ones out anymore which is stupid since I've been disabled 32yrs already and on disability for 21yrs so I don't think things are going to change if they did, I'd be so happy to give it up I'd dance to Dept of Motor Vehicle's LOL... Anyways my point is we did what we needed to at MPD & when we came out I spotted Amici's and was craving Italian food and so was my daughter so we went in ordered came out from there & on my windshield was a $150.00 ticket because they couldn't see the date/ all of the handicap pass & if needs to be PD by 9/25 if not PD 10/5 cost then $150.00+$150.00= $300.00 !!! So beware because I think on Main St the handicap spots don't require you to feed a meter... They have a paid parking lot behind Riverview $1.00 per hr same as meters on street. There is a parking lot somewhere over there for movie theater, stores and suc
