The owners, Jen and Chris, are so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about running a board game cafe well. Rose is also a wonderful employee at the cafe. The events are great, there's a discord (link on their website) where they keep the events super up to date. People are friendly, come stop by! It's only $10 for a game pass to play any and all games you want. The cafe part is super reasonably priced too, great snacks and drinks to have while playing.Whether you're a beginner or an expert with board games, they have a very impressive and huge selection.

We had a young woman who helped my date and I find a game. she really took personal time to help and even helped us play the game right.The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the games were in fairly good condition. Game pass was good. we were able to bring in coffees from another establishment but i am tempted to try theirs next time. great shop - highly recommend for some simple fun and light competition.

The owners and staff are some of the kindest people I've met, the game collection is beyond impressive, and the regulars are so friendly and warm. The cutest gem in Middletown! An easy walk from the Main Street parking lot, this cafe welcomes you in with a relaxed, calming atmosphere perfect for a mellow but fun outing. The staff was super kind and friendly and was able to answer any questions you had. There were so so many board games to browse, and if you had one in mind they were quick to retrieve it for you. The prices were incredible- I got the game and a treat pass for $15, giving me an excellent cup of tea (I think it was called shadow something- suuuuper good), a blueberry muffin (I love muffins) and hours of fun with my friend. I went home and immediately told everyone I know that I need to take them there.Vegetarian options: It is a cafe, so most things are vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian and did not consume meat there. You will have plenty of options.Parking: It is a very short walk from the Main Street lot, which made it super easy to navigate as I am familiar with that lot. There is also street parking on Main Street (not sure if it is paid or free) but the lot is definitely easier.Kid-friendliness: When we were there, there was a family with an infant, and they had a great time. The child slept and it was not noisy enough to disturb it. The staff were super friendly, and they worked to accommodate the family’s needs.Wheelchair accessibility: I cannot entirely remember, but I think there were steps and multiple doors to get in the building. I believe that the staff would assist you navigating that, so I wouldn’t cross it completely off the list. The tables I think would be high enough to fit a wheelchair.

We were visiting the area and needed a place to kill a few hours and boy did this place far exceed that. We were greeted by a really friendly staffer who took our drink orders and explained how it worked and then gave excellent recommendations. We had a blast playing board games for hours and even learning a new game from a volunteer. We are so sad we don't live closer - this place is perfect: welcoming, great selection, great space!

I went here yesterday with some friends and ended up staying until the place closed. The selection of games is wide and paying only $10 for access to everything in the store is a nice bonus. Snacks are at a nice price and for those like us who stayed for a good five hours, the ability to bring in outside food was a nice touch. The people working were so pleasant and helpful. Worth the hour ride there, and it'll be worth it again when we eventually make another trip.
