We have scoured the area surrounding Middletown for the best Chinese take-out; and Hau Po is our go-to place. We order about once a week. It is quite conveniently located on Rte 17, so I drive to pick up. Favorites include an excellent chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan soup, their beef and broccoli, the Happy Family, and a totally awesome Teriyaki Beef. Big portions, came fast, good prices, awesome delivery. I've tried china king, fortune garden, fortune wok, and most other delivery chinese in Middletown and this one was the best of all of them hands down.

I used to come from wallingford to purchase food from this restaurant. Everything was fresh, shrimp rolls, spring rolls excellent, the cabbage used was actually green, so it was fresh! All meals were excellent quality. I haven't been there in years so I can't say if the menu is the same quality as before.
