I am happy to support vegan restaurants because I know how hard it can be. I’ve eaten here twice and enjoyed the food but each meal ordered was just too greasy. Specifically the cauliflower was just dripping. I will visit again and actively order the least fried and greasy plate available and revisit my review! The price is also a bit high overall. Love the decor, and furniture!
Good place to go with homemade vegan food - has large portions
Now all vegan. Went for Sunday brunch and it was delicious. The cornbread is my favorite, and whatever they use for their vegan bacon is very unique and really good. The coconut cake was also amazing . Highly recommended
I have to stop here every time I’m traveling through CT! I’ll never leave without a maple latte. Their Mac and cheese is so rich and savory! My favorite item on the menu for sure. Buffalo tempura cauliflower was one of the best I’ve had! I’ll always recommend Ion!
Nice little spot with a good selection. Went for a Sunday brunch in the afternoon and it was packed! We got a table in the middle of the floor but the sun was in my eyes the whole time. Not their fault they were busy 🫠. Ordered the tofu scramble, special pancakes (blueberry triple stack) and garlic parmesan cauliflower. A lemonade and guava kombucha for drinks. The pancakes were the best. Super fluffy and filling- really so tasty! The tofu scramble plate was alright. The rice paper bacon was really salty and the home fries could’ve been cooked to make the potatoes a little crispier. I would ask them to cook them longer if you’re after a crunch. The cauliflower and sauce was good but a bit strong for my palate. We took a bunch of leftovers home. Overall good flavors although a bit pricey, they were good sized portions. I would eat here again if I was passing through the area but I don’t know if I’d go out of my way to visit. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-18
I don’t leave 1-2 star reviews for veg businesses unless they literally sicken us. This place did. The food came out in portions that were 3x as big and 2x as expensive as they deserved to be. Everything tasted like the deep fryer. We boxed up our many leftovers and continued on our travels. Just a few hours later, the leftovers smelled like sewage. My husband began throwing up and did not stop all night. We got no sleep. It was a bad scene. The two stars are required by Happy Cow since it’s a veg establishment. Don’t go here.
The food here is so good, unfortunately did not get any pics. My husband and I got a few different things to share because we could not decide! We got the mac’n cheese, kale salad, and grilled seitan entree (the bacon butter brussel sprouts that it came with were the highlight for both of us). The vibe of the restaurant is cool, the staff friendly, and love that the drinks came with metal straws ?
The sweet potato fries are the best you will ever have. Seriously. And the portion is very generous. The homemade sauces make this dish memorable. I know it sounds silly to focus on sweet potato fries, but you won't find better.

First time visiting and was mesmerized by the decor and the friendly service. What a magical space, plants, art, and natural wood tables. The menu is broad: delicious appetizers (ie, cauliflower chicken wings and breaded tofu), exquisite southwestern salad, and decadent cookies. What a discovery. It is worth the 30 minute drive.
Excellent service and delicious menu items. Nice and quiet restaurant with unique garden like decor. Looking forward to next visit.

Was excited to go this place. The food was okay. Service not so great. High price weren't worth the quality of foods or drinks. I have gone to better places for the price and quality. Almost every restaurant serves water, the waiter never served us water nor asked and never checked on us not once!! Fortunately there was a generous waitress that helped us and took care of us although it was not her table. Kudos to her!! The owner has been running this place since 2005. Obviously she needs to work her management. She was not friendly at all. I will never go back there. There are better vegan restaurants out there! Oh there were flies inside the restaurant which was so annoying!

I was excited to try this place but…
Atmosphere is great!! Food is OK - service is even more OK. Didn’t get water when everyone else around us did and then accidentally ordered a salad with sour cream and was told by management to “scrape it off.” After that, our waiter never checked on us since we sat down. Additionally, we were going to order deserts but our menu was snatched after telling them we wanted to keep the menu. Oh well, will not be returning. Owner has been there since 2005 and obviously has gained no management or customer service skills. Very unfriendly… maybe she’s racist as we didn’t see any other POC there. Won’t be returning to find out.
SHOUT OUT TO THE WAITRESS WHO CAME TO OUR RESCUE THOUGH!! love u girl xoxo

This place is my new favorite place for plant based eating. They made every meal we tried taste like the meat-counterpart. The sweet potato fries were very good and their sauces were great for dipping. We tried the nachos and couldn't believe how well they tasted compared to ground beef nachos.
