Fantastic happy hour menu and prices, including food and drink. The happy hour cocktails were delicious and not just run of the mill. The wood-fired oven is there for all to see (and generate heat) and put out great charred New Haven style pizza. As a pizza snob, I was very impressed. Kiyah is an amazing server! Food was delicious and so were the drinks. However, the High West Campfire bourbon tasted absolutely horrible; almost as if something else had been previously in the glass. However, the old fashioned and the honey habanero highball were phenomenal. The service and the food and great happy hour specials will bring me back!
I tried the margherita pie. Sauce was good, mozzarella was fresh, basil was not overdone and crust was baked OK. I give it a 6.4 as the crust was far too thin to be taken seriously as a contender. If the crust was a bit thicker, all other factors equal, might score as high as a 7.4. Notably not New Haven style (Apizza) but not tryin to be either. Price point and service were fine too. Would recommend for decent pizza in the specific area, but not a destination pizza restaurant...
