While I love to eat here when I’m actually dining in, I find that every time I order to go through DoorDash or UberEats, my order is messed up and something is forgotten. Today they forgot the Nutella on my crepe even though I paid for it, which stinks. I feel like this isn’t really a place to order to go from and I don’t think I will be anymore. Even though it’s small things they forget, it’s just disappointing after spending a decent amount for a crepe.

I come to Perk on Main all the time. But today we ordered our coffee and scone to eat in and I asked for our scones to be heated. It was like I asked for something outrageous. We waited for our scones about 30min. And had to go to the counter and check on our drinks and scones. So sad my favorite spot to take my cleints is no more. Won't come back.

I ordered the Pat California crepe. The salsa in the wrap and the potatoes were spicy. I have been to better places. I won't be coming back

SO BAD. Hashbrowns undercooked. Smoothies taste like a slippery banana peel with paper bits throughout. Genuinely so bad.

I fell in love with this adorable little spot! So cute and friendly and delicious food and coffee and pastries. They even have a little market with grab and go stuff and honestly, you could spend your day here working quietly and have 2 full meals and a snack lol. And prob no one would say a word to you. Prices are reasonable and the food feels homemade and fresh. We were visiting and it's always fun to find local spots like this one that seem to be part of the lifeblood of the town. Such a lively little vibe while still serene. I saw people alone working, people having lunch with their adult kids, couples having a late breakfast, and people grabbing a quick lunch on their breaks. I can see why! Food was excellent from the crepes to the sandwiches but the vibe is hard to beat!

We use to frequent the Perk in Church but since that’s gone we like going g to this location. There are lots of tables indoors and out. Parking is behind the building. You enter the cafe from within the ‘mall’, which is just a hallway with a bunch of stores.
The best thing on their menu are the crepes! We love the classic combo. They also have salads, sandwiches, coffee, smoothies and juices. Lots of healthy choices. Their ice blended coffee is amazing!

Came here a number of times while staying in the area for business. This place is BUSY and for out of towners there is a lot that is assumed. Serviced was mixed based on who I got to order from- blonde dude was AWESOME! Had a dark haired girl that did pretty good. Girl with short hair, two buns, that doesn’t wear a bra had 0 patience and was overall rude (again they were busy but the other two seemed to have handled it). Food was decent overall and hazelnut coffee/hot chocolate drink was delicious! Overall I’d come back and just pray it’s that girls day off!

Perk on Main in Middletown Connecticut is in a very good location and has incredible potential.
However, they probably want to pay very close attention to customer service and operational flow.
Went there recently to pick up a cup of coffee ☕️. It was virtually empty yet took quite a while to place the order. There was a lady there at the cashier station who seemed to be writing a sign completely ignoring the 1 or 2 customers. obviously on main street parking is an issue so some people just want to run in and out and not have to come out and feed the meter again. So during the slow periods it is helpful to process orders in a timely fashion.
But this lady seemed unconcerned. I guess she thinks her job is sign writing. So if a customer service must be rated it will score a lowly one star.
On a brighter note it’s a wonderful location. The decor is fitting for the location. The coffee barista was efficient. So once the order went in was able to retrieve my coffee quickly.
Hoping that I just went on a bad day so will plan to swing by several more times to give it a balanced review.
A few years ago I recall going to their establishment in a different town and location and seem to remember enjoying it. We’ll cross my fingers and hope for the best. Really hope this place does well.

Smoothies were good , just not sure how 2 smoothies adds up to $27 dollars without a tip. I just didn’t feel like arguing the insanity of that price… I won’t return
