Really nice place to go for yummy comfort food and a great selection of beer. The mac and cheese is honestly the best I've ever had and no other place can even come close to how good it is.

I came back yesterday and I think they've upgraded their gluten free bread because they were larger than before and so delicious. I also got the tomato bisque this time and will forever get it again, it hit the spot!

Do not come to the Whey Stationary unless you're ready to indulge! There are so many delicious, gooey, greasy carb-creations on this menu-- every time we come, we end up just ordering a bunch of apps to share at the table because there are too many excellently options! The vibes here are also great; a casual, artsy feel welcomed anyone who enters The Whey Stationary!

My friend and I drive over an hour just for the bacon mac and cheese. MUST HAVE. The tots are incredible. The gravy on the poutine tots is out of this world. We love the variety of grilled cheese sandwiches we have had over our visits. We just wish there was a place to nap after lunch. ? We will be back! Over and over again!

The Whey Station(Ary) is a great place to enjoy unique melts, tater tots and grilled cheese. The staff was super friendly and helpful, as I was conflicted on a couple of items. The little video game station in the back is an awesome nostalgic touch for the atmosphere. Eating in the restaurant was enjoyable.The Cheesy Bacon Tots were delicious. Everything was well presented and had the perfect taste and crunch.The cheese on the Monger was perfectly melted and bread was toasted well. Very good dish.I will be returning for more food in the future. Highly recommend. ?

Went a couple weeks ago. Felt like we were being rushed out (it wasn't busy at all). Food came out in what felt like several minutes. Server brought check to us and we weren't even finished with our first beer, they didn't ask if we wanted another. They close at 8 during week which also makes me feel rushed when I can't get out to eat til 7. There is nothing I dislike more than feeling rushed out when I just want to relax and take my time. Food is always good though....

Great grilled cheese, just like the delicious truck with the same name! Our waitress was very nice, Avery sodas of varying flavors were had all around for our party of five on a Saturday night. We found street parking across from the store (free after 6). Everything tasted yum. I would return on a heartbeat, we all took home 1/2 our sandwiches - they were super filling. The tots perfectly crispy.

1st time here & sadly, the last. The decor was dia de los Muertos inspired w/bright fiesta-like colors, which was fun! Our server, Kiely, was friendly & pleasant . They don't offer beer flights. We went w/ the Alvarium Ecto-Cooler & a Spoke + Spy Tepache Mode cider. They were wacky colors, which was surprising & cool! Hubby thought the ecto was ok. I had a very difficult time finishing the cider. The sample was good - full pint, not so much. There was a spicy floral taste we couldn't pinpoint. (the drinks aren't their fault)For apps we had the spinach-artichoke dip (came w/ housemade chips - aka Irish fries) and Bruffalos (buffalo brussels). The dip had chunks of artichokes (yes!), but was very, very cream cheese forward and had zero flavor except A LOT of black pepper, so much you could see it ontop of the dip. Dip bowl was super hot, but the dip, not so much. We disliked it so much that we didn't finish it. Brussels were decent, but needed slightly more buffalo sauce (imo) as they were very lightly coated & maybe add a little more blue cheese crumble. Split the Ella sandwich & tots. Tots were super hot & crispy. Everything seemed ok w/the sandwich (bread was crispy, buttery & warm), until you took a bite. The prosciutto inside was fatty & COLD. The fig jam...COLD. The cheese was already starting to "congeal" when we got it. Super, super disappointing. Grilled cheese is suppose to "string" when pulled apart - not this one ? You're a grilled cheese place - for shame!

Grilled Cheese and Tater Tots. Need I say more? We've been to the Whey Stationary a couple times to get some sandwiches and tots. They have gluten free bread, and a dedicated gf fryer. There are tons of grilled cheese options, ranging from just cheese, to beef and potatoes. Everything we've had is great. The tater tots are a little salty some days, but it still tastes great. I'd definitely recommend getting your grilled cheese fix here!

Was craving just a plain grilled cheese so that's what I got (the monger) but they had plenty other options with awesome looking toppings. The grilled cheese hit the spot, perfectly crispy all over and gooey inside. It came with a side- I opted for the dressed greens which was as expected. Dressing homemade vinegarette. Not over powering nice and subtle. The place was empty at 12pm on a Friday but since it seems to be a bar I'm guessing it gets busy around happy hour- dinner time. Games with a couch is a nice touch too. I'd go back and try the other options for sure

Love the vibe here! The colors and fun quirky decorations set a tone that keeps you intrigued. I started off with a selection from their extensive craft beer list and then had their Brussels sprouts and cheese curds for my meal. Huge portions and tasted so yummy! This place did not disappoint and the folks running the place were extremely nice and attentive. I would say it's a hidden gem and I was surprised that it wasn't busier on a Saturday afternoon. Perhaps it was the heat?!?All that to say, I think it's worth checking out!
