Delicious food for such a tiny place. The menu was hard to decipher, and our waitress was a great help to navigate through some awesome options.

Been dining here since they were still in Middletown. Food and staff are all amazing!

Extremely rude and rushed service. Went here for dinner and the food was good. But after we had finished our meals, the server immediately wanted us to leave because it was a busy night - literally seconds after we ate the last bite. I still had a full cup of tea, which I had paid for! He argued rudely with me that he wanted us to leave right now because he wanted to give the table to other guests and that he doesn't care about us being able to finish our drinks. Unbelievable. This restaurant doesn't care about its guests, but only about making the most profit.

Based on one visit by two with 3 shared veggie dishes on not a busy nite. Food was as good as expected. Sharing is best to experience a variety of tastes. Menu clearly shows veggie on one page and meats on another.

A really one of a kind restaurant in New Haven with the kind of freshness that makes you feel like you're stuffing your face in aunty's parlor while she insists you eat more. Intimate space, it can get pretty busy on Friday night so try to be mindful of the staff who are trying to get everyone seated and fed in a timely manner.Strongly recommend the soups and the hand pulled noodles. Would definitely eat here again!P.s - cash preferred

I love this restaurant so much! This is the best Tibetan food I've ever had in my life. You can get anything on their menu and be happy.

Phenomenal food. Great service. Overall fantastic. Made gluten free for a member of our party and offered multiple options for her.

Went out for dinner with a few colleagues. We're all in town for a business meeting and it was rather cold so another member of our team looked for some place within walking distance to our hotel. Wow what a wonderful restaurant. The food was AH-mazing and the service was impeccable. The waitress listened to all of our questions and graciously responded - including providing recommendations. Everything that came to our table was so good. Thanks for also accommodating my gluten allergy!!! I'll definitely be back.

A really good place to eat! Delicious exotic flavors. Make sure to order Tibetan bread with your entre if you like to dip something in your gravy. Love the fried chili chicken. Food can be ordered at many different levels of spicy. I recommend between 2 -3 for a little kick ?️?️?️. . It's a small restaurant, worth waiting if no available seating. Plenty of on-street parking in this area. They also have a large selection of vegetarian dishes.

Some of the dishes here were excellent. I loved the butter salted tea to start, which was one of the specials listed on the chalk board. It had a subtle flavor that I'm sure would be hard to replicate if you don't have practice. The appetizers weren't the best part of the meal but were a nice addition. I didn't taste much sesame in the cold noodles, and the other appetizer, made with peas, tofu and potato was mostly potato. The dumplings were perfectly fried (lightly) and juicy, much better than your average fare. I ordered the beef noodle soup, which was very good, aromatic with a combination of shredded beef with ground beef on top. My dish was very hot and took a while to cool down, so I was falling behind the rest of my party in finishing my meal... Something to bear in mind if you choose this option. The waiter was attentive and made sure to ask if there was anything else we wanted to order before the kitchen closed for two hours. We went on a Saturday afternoon and didn't realize how small the dining room is. The place fills up quickly, so you might have to wait to be seated. The dining room is cozy with wooden tables, and the place is decorated modestly in Tibetan style. I would recommend going here and taking your time over a hot meal while enjoying the ambiance.

My husband and I visited the Tibetan Kitchen for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! The vegetable momos filled with cabbage and cheese were delicious and melted in our mouths! I HIGHLY recommend getting that when you are there next. The vegetable soup as a starter was perfect for the cold weather. We also ordered the potato momos and the hand pulled noodle vegetable soup, and both were delicious. We tried the tingmo based on the reviews and liked it. Street parking was relatively easy to find on a Sunday.Vegetarian options: This place has plenty of vegetarian options. I'm vegetarian and felt I had a lot of choices to pick from.

I think it's funny that the waiter insisted we get food with a spiciness of 3, because we're white. We went with 4.Next time, I'll do 5. 5 is the correct spice level.

Some of the best food in New Haven. Amazing labeled vegan options. Chili tofu with a Tingmo is a must order.
