One of my favorite places. I usually get the lemon-lime, but everything is good.

A third generation owned nostalgic place. It reminded me of the original ice cream parlors in the 60s. Great family business

Well worth the effort! Parking is tight so best to visit during off-peak times.

Well I have passed this place for years on our way to dine at various restaurants in downtown Middletown. Today we finally stopped today to try the Italian Ice since it’s a warm day. I rarely leave a negative review but everything about this place was a negative experience.
We walked in and there was no line. The only person working, a middle aged man, didn’t greet us and kept doing some kind of chore even though clearly we were standing at the counter to order and no one else was there. Going in and out of the front room. After about 5 minutes he said “When you’re ready I can take your order.” To which we said we had been ready. We each ordered a different flavor. The employee didn’t thank us. Didn’t crack a smile. Least congenial employee ever. As far as the ices-zero flavor for the blue raspberry. So glad I got a small. I actually threw most of it out! My husband got a pineaplle coconut combo and the pineapple had no flavor. The coconut did have a coconut flavor. We will never go back for all the aforementioned reasons.

Has the feel of an old-school family spot.

I got the almond italian ice (sounds weird, so my wife thought too, but we both agreed it was EXCELLENT).

Old photos and memorabilia on the walls made me nostalgic for a time I've never even experienced.

Great place to bring your family on a hot summer afternoon. Parking can get tight/awkward and a little disorganized, but totally worth the visit!

Highly recommend.

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam I've been wanting to ✔️ out VII for yrssss....

I really haven't missed out on too much it seems...

The cherry was ultra bright dyed and the lime was gummy bits where the flavor didnt mix in proper.

Overall its like an old school icey similar consistency to Marino's you buy in the store. The prices are really good and the paper cup is classic so it's ok on a hot day.
