Set reservations and then drove 3 hours for it to be “temporarily closed.” Shouldn't be able to make reservations if it's closed. Insane.

You allowed me to book a reservation for a restaurant that has been shut down for months. I drove 45 minutes to a sign saying closed and all the lights off and an empty parking lot. How did this happen? To say I was disappointed and very angry is an under statement. Went promptly to Boca Oyster Bar with my party of six and spent my $500 there. Thanks for a disappointing birthday celebration.

The servers were wonderful. The facility was very nicely decorated for New Year's Eve.

Something going on in the bar ... bad karaoke maybe ... lots is yelling not much singing! We ordered a drink and waited for our friend. We spent about 15 minutes and waited for the server to take our friends drink order. We finished our drinks, paid and left. We couldn't talk at our small table for 4 without yelling to each other! Everybody deserves to have fun... But this kind of noise and craziness was over the top! Ps I couldn't leave a review without rating the food which we never ordered!

The food here is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for an evening out with friends & family. Ask about their entertainment line up, they often have special events such as a Jazz Musician, Belly Dancer, Magician, Paint & Sip, Dinner & Cigar nights in the Lounge, & more! Consider your next private event here with catering menus available, too! End your visit with a quick stroll to the water close by!

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service and Warm Atmosphere Our family had the pleasure of dining at A Village Bistro in Milford, and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and a warm atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a delightful experience. The menu offered a wonderful variety of delicious dishes, each prepared to perfection. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations that enhanced our meal. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff truly set this bistro apart. A Village Bistro is a gem in Milford, and we can't wait to return for another memorable meal. Highly recommended!

The service is friendly and efficient-no complaints whatsoever! Hubby was happy with his shrimp and his chicken entree and I had the guac, which was watery and bland IMHO and the Wagyu sliders. The sliders are very tasty, and their size makes burgers manageable again! The accompanying truffle fries had no truffle flavor-just a sporadic dusting of some sort of flavoring. My biggest issue is the upkeep and ambiance-they are blessed with a patio, but the dead fronds hanging from the pergola are sad, not the tropical look the restaurant is maybe going for. Walking inside, my most recent visits here, you are greeted by an unpleasant scent. The decor seems drab, lacking a cohesive identity, and in need of a good dusting!

Service this evening was very poor. The restaurant was not full and there seemed to be plenty of servers. We had to wait a while for everything (drinks, ordering, food arrival, boxes, check). At times, waitstaff were seen doing other tasks around the restaurant, standing around socializing, and organizing bottles at the bar, rather than attending to the customers that were waiting for food. May not go back, as the overall experience was not good. At one point, we were the last table seated in the restaurant and we had to ask a different server for our boxes and our check, because our waiter never came back.

The menu was varied and good as was the food. The service was slow as they were under staffed, but they were pleasant and apologized. We will go back

What a great night out. We prefer food not over processed, freshly prepared and use of quality ingredients. Village bistro provided this and so much more. I have soy allergies and typically have to stay away from anything fried bc most places use a blend oil. Not here!! The canola oil used gave me free rein to try the fish tacos. OMG. They are the best. Freshly made cole slaw accompaniment just gave them such a fresh presentation and flavor. Also had the mussels and a beet salad. All were great!! Almost wanted to take the sauce from mussels home with me for a follow up pasta! My husband also had the salmon dinner plate with the best mashed potatoes!! Dessert stayed true to the meal. Clean and fresh. Amazing flavor. ( flourless chocolate and a coconut gelato ) We enjoyed ourselves so much that we purchased a gift card as a gift for a friend. Such a great nite out. No stomach problems the next day either. This never happens. ❤️❤️
