“I love coming here. Employees are always busy in the kitchen (where you can see them) and the ones outside are behind the counter staying busy either making orders or cleaning/restocking items. No gossiping like Panera or fooling around like chipotle. Kudos to the manager for keeping it down because I know they always rotate employees and keep the atmosphere clean and fresh. It’s always a busy restaurant but they do keep up. Thank you for that. Appreciate it.“

I've come here twice outside their lunch and dinner rush hours, and my order would be out in less than 5 min. It can be a bit of a wait during their rush hours though.“

“One of the few places to get a proper steamed cheeseburger. But they are so much more than that. Arguably one of the best hot dogs (they are JUMBO, a meal in their own and delicious)and steak and cheese , super thinly sliced, no grizzle and full of beefy flavor with a generous portion. Lots of choices of toppings while being reasonably priced. Family owned by some of the nicest people you can ever meet. Also they carry a wide variety of unique sodas that I don't know anywhere else to find. The only criticism I can give is that the tuna, potato salads... Could use a bit more mayo. I bring them home and add a little and they are perfect“

Twice this week it was not busy when I ordered and on two separate orders, I asked for to substitute the sodas for coffee shakes. The first time they were Chocolate shakes. So, I order an extra coffee shake on the Carvel side as my brother is allergic to Chocolate. I went in tonight and order my brother's meal for him. When I ordered I made sure to announced that it was a Coffee Shake, TWICE. While waiting, I noticed the female trainer had the trainee put a medium Vanilla Shake instead. When the buzzer went off, not only was there no shake ready but was asked: "Oh, you had a vanilla shake too, right?" "NO! Coffee!" Another wait as they made the coffee shake I originally ordered. Baseball season is upon us, hopefully, you don't strike out if I (we) come in again. Advice - Check your orders placing and receiving them.“

“We visited on 1/3/25, and could not have been more pleased. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the apple pie waffle, chorizo skillet, and corned beef hash. The portions were large, and the food was fresh, hot, and seasoned so well. The restaurant was busy for good reason, and the staff was so friendly. “I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . “They are awesome! There was a misunderstanding about a cake I wanted. I spoke with the owner Dyrak and he made the cake I wanted and delivered it to me! That's what I call customer service. I don't usually make good comments about customer service because I work for a company that is known for their customer service and I usually don't receive the same kind of customer service that is expected of us. Dyrak definitely went above and beyond. Thank you!“

“Had a great meal here for the whole family, and the owner came by and joked with the kids... husband had burnt ends, brisket, ribs, etc. He loved the smoky flavor of the meat and that not all of the flavor came from the sauce. nice to find a BBQ restaurant with a veggie option, thank you!“

“We happened to come in on a busy night. Tina was our server. Her and the Manager were professional and handled the crowd with no problem. All our ice creams were perfect and it was still a pleasant environment even though every booth was full! Will definitely come back again“

“I recently visited Wayback Burgers, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. The burgers were cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and freshly made with quality ingredients. The fries were crispy and golden, and the milkshake was thick and creamy, just the way it should be!

The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had that classic burger joint vibe. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

It’s like a “secret”, “online” restaurant where they prepare whats in the menu but do not have it in theirs or in their system (Friendly’s). “I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time

Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy

Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“
