My husband was really excited to bring me here, and we had high hopes. Sadly, the food fell far short. The meatballs did not taste homemade, and the chicken burrata lacked flavor. To make matters worse, both my husband and I became ill within two hours of leaving the restaurant. The thought of the food now makes me feel sick. The bus staff was pleasant, but our waiter was unfriendly, rushed, and inattentive. Overall, this was not worth the money.

My family and friends truly love Flames Restaurant. We try to go as often as we can. The staff are gracious and just friendly and helpful. The owners are simply wonderful. They are always willing to help us with the menu. Especially because I am gluten free. I wish and hope that the restaurant will be open for a long, long time. Thank you Micky Kollar and family.🌹

Flames Bar & Lounge – Monroe, CT We recently renewed our vows and celebrated with a family dinner at Flames Bar & Lounge in Monroe—and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly handled. The owner, Meta Rugova, was incredible, and his wife was absolutely the sweetest. She greeted us at the door with such kindness and made us feel right at home. She was so accommodating and genuinely made our special night even more meaningful. We had about 30 guests, and everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. The staff was perfect—attentive, professional, and on point all evening. Even more touching, his kids were part of the staff, and they stayed right by us the entire night, making sure we never needed anything and that everything was perfect. Our whole family was beyond happy, and the hospitality we received was something you don’t find everywhere. Flames made our vow renewal celebration something we will always remember. If you want amazing food, incredible service, and a place that treats you like family, Flames Bar & Lounge is truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommend!

We went here for a birthday celebration. The food was great, the staff friendliness and attentiveness was first rate. We don't go out much anymore, but this will be among our first choices when we do.

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Michael and the staff are amazing, the food is always excellent and I would say it’s the best dining experience in the area. My daughter is on the way back from college in Vermont and literally just called me and said dad can you see if you can get a reservation at flames. Her first priority :-) give it a try, I’m sure you’ll love it.
