Monroe Social gets 2 very different reviews. Dine in was not great. The food was average, the prices were high, and the wait times were slow. On the other hand, take out family specials were excellent. The chicken cordon bleu was juicy, the penne vodka was creamy, and it came with salad and cauliflower. I definitely recommend the catering special. Dine in could be better.
Had a group of 12 for Mother's Day brunch, and we all had a great time. The drinks were good, and the food was great. We will be back again for a regular night out , especially for a brunch
The name of this establishment reflects the friendly atmosphere. This is a place to meet friends and new acquaintances, and converse over great food (farm to table) and beverages. The Bourbon/whiskey selection is outstanding, while the burgeoning Scottish Single Malts collection grows more impressive by the season. Highly recommended.
