This was a great Lunch spot! They had a very versatile menu and Our server ( I think her name was Mallory? ) was very kind and polite. I got the dog watch Salad with steak and it was so good! Just a lot of cheese on the salad that I don’t think was listed on the menu.

The food is damn good! Great service, love the atmosphere inside and out, it’s quaint and inviting. We had 4 kiddos, each one got coloring sheets crayons and wiki sticks- superb! Seriously best pulled pork I’ve had.

We go to dogwatch several times a month and we are never disappointed. It’s a unique experience in that every time we go, everyone (staff and customers) are always joyful. We recommend the tuna tartare, Wendy cosmo, and chopped pasta salad with blackened chicken. We appreciated the attention to March Madness, Go Huskies!

They offer French fries, either regular or spicy. We ordered the spicy ones thinking they would be like the generic curly fries with extra zing that we enjoy in other restaurants. What they were was an order of regular fries with Cajun spice poured on top. Some had way too much seasoning and some were not even covered. Not only was this not appealing in any way, but there was so much spice on a number of them that the flavoring remained on the tongue and completely killed any taste of the fish and salad that accompanied it. I would recommend people NOT order this or the kitchen take more care in its preparation.

My wife and I Ordered 2 steaks medium and they came out bloody rare in the middle. Had the waitress bring mine back to cook it more and my wife said I’ll just take it home and cook it more. No apologies no money off the bill or anything. No way to run a restaurant in my opinion. If you can’t cook a steak right, you have no business selling them.
The French onion soup alone was reason for us to come back the following day before leaving Mystic. The broth is delicious, and the cheese is flambéed perfectly. Fresh fish. Properly cooked veggies. You can tell the cooks are proud of their work, and the service is great. The drinks are excellent (if you intend to have someone else driving, order the “floater”).

We are frequent patrons of Twelve Buck Tuesday and enjoy the experience. We have noticed, however, that the menu choices have not changed in at least the last three Tuesdays in a row. There used to be some more variety. Any chance for it again?

We had burnt ends, clam chowder, bbq pulled pork, mac and cheese and fish and chips and everything was delicious. I've been here several times and have always enjoyed everything I've ever ordered. Indoors in winter the noise level is high. But that's minor compared to how good the food and service is. One of the best restaurants in the Mystic area imo.
