We had a boat at Mystic Shipyard East / Mystic Cove Marina for 27 years so I had always caught my own fish. In 2015 we moved to Indiana to help our daughter with our grandsons. We continued to return to Mystic for the summer living on our boat until we sold it in 2018. We still return to Mystic for a week in July. This summer I found J & R seafood. Highly recommend the fish fry at J&R! The haddock was flaky and tender. Perfectly fried and not greasy. The fries were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside!
Absolutely wonderful! We did a lobster bake for six plus bought cod and shrimp. Everyone agreed it was the best they had. Everything was hot and delicious without being overcooked. The shrimp was so sweet. Great find will will definitely have them cook for us again!!!
