Walked in and immediately questioned whether I was here for caffeine or to buy a Victorian lamp. The vibe? Immaculate. The menu? Minimalist masterpiece — like if IKEA designed espresso options. I ordered an iced coffee and watched the barista (a chill cowboy who may or may not moonlight as a philosopher) pour it from a giant glass jug that looked like it belonged in a medieval apothecary.
Need ice? That’s a quest. It’s in the back, and the barista has to earn his steps. On your way out, you’ll find the straws casually lounging on a vintage sewing machine, because why not. I half expected a raccoon in a monocle to offer me a biscotti.
The barista was sipping a cold one himself, which somehow made everything feel more authentic. Like, “Yes, I trust this man with my caffeine needs and my soul.”
10/10 would return. Might bring a wagon next time.

The iced coffee was very bad. We could taste the grinds in the coffee. The bagel and cream cheese was small with barely any cream cheese. The chicken salad sandwich was pickled but the sign didn’t mention that so it was an unwelcome surprise. However, the woman behind the counter was kind but overworked. Would not go again and do not recommend.

Cool vibe! But coffee was very bitter and my cup had a lot of long hairs on the outside of it. Workers were sweet!

The price was pretty high for just OK coffee. Also worth noting they don't even have a customer bathroom.
If youre looking for a proper coffee joint to hang out in, you probably would have better luck at some of the neighboring spots.

My teen son and I went twice while spending a couple days in Mystic. We brought our books and enjoyed coffee/tea in this cozy, eclectic spot. The music selections of the owner were great! If you love tea as much as I do, you’ll love the custom blends. If you want a basic cuppa, stop in!
