Wife and I had a breakfast at Nana's in Mystic. Easy fast friendly service. Their breakfast burrito was delicious! Not your ur usual that is overfilled with hash browns or eggs, it was a perfect mix of each ingredient. The Nana's egg sandwich was very good as well, we liked the sweet of the apple mixed with the savory of the eggs.
Definitely worth the time if you're looking for a quick stop!

We went on a Monday morning for breakfast and got a table by the window. We got the nana sandwich and the hashbrown sandwich both were really good. The best part tho were our drinks (cappuccinos) the coffee was really good.

I questioned posting a review only for my own selfish gain of keeping this lovely gem to myself! Everything was super fresh and DELICIOUS. You can taste the thoughtfulness in the food. So worth a stop when in Mystic!

Going to Nana’s Mystic? Don’t expect anything close to the Nana’s Westerly experience. I visited twice, hoping my first impression was just an off day—but it wasn’t. Unfortunately, it confirmed a pattern.

The place is dirty—inside and out. The outdoor seating looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 1800s. Tables are covered in mud, sand, and bird droppings, and customers have to clean their own spot just to sit down. Honestly, public park picnic areas are better maintained.

As for the food… I ordered the same menu items I’ve enjoyed in Westerly, but the difference was night and day. Imagine handing a Michelin-level recipe to a fast-food crew—what you get is a sad, incoherent parody. The so-called “authentic” dishes felt like random ingredients thrown together by someone who’s never tasted what they’re serving.

It’s genuinely unsanitary to eat in such conditions, and the kitchen staff clearly need to learn some basic cooking skills before serving the public.

Great service and great menu. The caprese salad was truly a delightful culinary experience. The fresh ingredients were perfectly combined, offering a wonderful medley of flavors. Its vibrant presentation was visually appealing, making it even more enjoyable.

Ordered the Oaxaca drink and chilaquiles breakfast. It was all so amazing and the staff was so nice. We sat outside on the water and I loved it so much I decided to leave this review.

Ordered a few pizzas for pickup. The staff was so preoccupied at the counter that they forgot about my order, which was sitting behind the counter to the extent that the pizza got cold, then they refused to heat it up. If you like paying a premium for cold, soggy, leftover pizza, then this is the spot for you. I suggest going to Mangos instead.

What a fantastic place. On our way to Boston, we wanted to grab some lunch. Found Nana's and it looked amazing (anyone says sourdough pizza crust and i am in!). Super cute place. We sat outside in the warm September sun. The cacio e pepe doughnut, had to try. Amazing. The arancini, so tasty. The roast chicken and veggies, perfectly cooked, the sourdough pizza excellent and to top it off had to get a oaxacan chcolate glazed doughnut. Who can resist a freshly fried doughnut (if these people exist, please let me never know them!). Brooke was so friendly and nice. Cannot wait to return one day. Brava!

Visited Nana’s twice to check out their breakfast and lunch offerings. Loved them for lunch - I got the tomato sandwich with bacon and my partner got a burger. We loved our choices. The BLT was flavorful and filling, best tomato I’ve had all season. My partner’s burger was delicious as well, and a lot bigger than we expected. I also got the summer berry hojicha which was amazing - it’s so difficult to find hojicha in this area and to have it done well was a pleasant surprise.

The cinnamon buns are to die for - absolute must if you go!

For breakfast, I wasn’t the biggest fan. I got the hashbrown sandwich and it was pretty flavorless. The hashbrown fell apart in the sandwich, and it didn’t taste like anything had any flavor. The only positive part was the bun - super light and airy. My partner got the breakfast burrito and again, little to no flavor. It was just spicy. We also got the nut latte, which was fine, but didn’t stand out much.

I’d go back to try more of their pastry items and drinks, but would likely skip on breakfast again. The service was amazing though - super friendly and sweet staff. The inside was clean and we found a seat even though both days we went were pretty busy. I have dreams about that cinnamon buns too.

Overall glad I checked it out and I’ll be back!

I only take issue with cornmeal or grits being used on the pizza, but it was still all very very tasty. Had donuts, latte and pizza. Donuts are done to order, so they are always fresh! Coming back to try the specialty drinks.
