Nice surprise.
My wife recommended to come and we finally did it, a bit far from our place but it was well worth the drive.
The place is well designed and modern, but not too much that would feel weird eating Mexican food.
All the dishes we ordered well presented, flavorful and fresh.
Chips and salsa, pork mole, chicken enchiladas, shrimp tacos and tres leches. We loved all of them.
This version of trea leches is not the original, but it was delicious.
Good service.
Will Be Back.

Best taco salad I’ve had in a long time! Got the vegan chorizo instead of ground beef, delicious!

Friday the 13th and people were enjoying good food and drink. Not a place for a quiet conversation with your date so we just ate and drank with all the others. And we'll be back!

This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and great food and service! We enjoyed our evening and weren't rushed!

I was disappointed thinking the food would be great. I intended to look for Margaritas restaurant and this popped up so I figured it had the same flavors. The parking is the worse, it was crowded and loud. Nice setting but the food was terrible. If you promote authentic foods from the origin at least make it properly. They need new cooks or train them more to obtain actual flavors of food

Delicious mole sauce, excellent margaritas and table side guacamole! Best Mexican food we have had in New England. On par with what we have had closer to the border in Tucson & San Diego. Thank you for a fun and delicious birthday dinner!

Great service and reasonable pricing! We were a group of six and they had no problems splitting the bill, which is always a nice thing! Food was amazing

Food was good. The chips and salsa were really good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Cocktails were good. Place was really busy, staff were kept on their toes for sure.

As always delicious food and tasty drinks! Asked to be sat in the quieter side, fire placed dining room. Service is attentive. One of our favorites in this restaurant group along with the new Jeremiah's.

One of the best mexican Restaurants in CT! Went for my mother's birthday for the first time and it was amazing. Fresh Gaucamole, Slasa and chips. You can tell its all freshly made. Our waiter was excellent, attentive and friendly. Its conveniently located across the street from Old Mystic Village.

After spending the morning at Old Mystic Village, hubby found this restaurant right across the street while looking for one with vegan options. This restaurant has a whole vegan menu!!! The food was fresh and delicious, service was quick and friendly (we were there for a late lunch on a Friday) and their homemade hot sauce is to die for! Saving this restaurant and will probably have to make the hour trip from home to visit again.

This is the second year in a row we came for a weekend away and had a great experience for dinner at Rio. Both times they have had the friendliest staff. They're great with our allergy and food sensitivities and this year when we had to wait for our reservation because a person was not leaving our table in a timely manner they made it up to us with guacamole and a dessert on the house. You can tell they want their guests to have a great experience. The food was great and portions large.
