The Shipwright's Daughter Reviews
The Shipwright's Daughter came highly recommended to us by locals we had talked with while vacationing in Mystic, and it did not disappoint. We booked a reservation for 7:15pm on a Saturday evening, and we were seated promptly at 7:15. From the hosts initial greeting, to our server first introducing herself at the table, every staff member made us feel welcomed. It was lovely. The cocktail my girlfriend ordered and the local draft I ordered were both outstanding. Our appetizers...read full review
From our hostess to our waiter Lee and our friend and server Carissa the service was impeccable. The food was fantastic, creative and delicious. I can speak of the seared squid...perfection.
Amazing food in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

The Shipwright's Daughter is a wonderful restaurant that pays attention to detail. The menu offers a diverse selection, from the Chef's Tasting Menu featuring oysters, fluke, mushrooms, and steak, to deviled eggs, fried oysters, fresh fish, and squid ink pasta. The restaurant also boasts an impressive G&T menu. The service is incredible and the food is spectacular. Customers mention the dry aged duck breast and monkfish mortadella as standout dishes and found the courses beautifully proportioned. The restaurant offers a perfect atmosphere to slow down and enjoy a beautiful meal. Many would have been happy paying more for the experience. The tasting menu and wine pairing is amazing. The menu has plenty of choices, and the morning cocktails are perfectly balanced, refreshing, and a great way to start the day. The breakfast itself is just as impressive, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a spot where you can easily linger a little longer than planned. The tuna dish and roasted sea coast mushrooms dish are amazing. For appetizers the “Sea Scargot” and “monkfish mortadella toast” were absolutely legendary. Such a vibe.
