“Their food is tasty and fresh. Great variety of dishes. Love their fritters and everything they cook. I get food there twice a week for my entire family for about $50. It’s a small place with huge Caribbean flavor. Their food is mostly Puerto Rican-Dominican style. I recommend it.“

“Boqueria in West Hartford is an absolute gem. My wife and I came in ready to explore tapas, and every single dish we tried was seriously delicious. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced, but the standout for me was the steak and the chorizo toast, both were incredible and honestly worth the visit all on their own.
What really made the experience next-level, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Even when there was a slight delay, the manager stepped in immediately and made sure everything stayed smooth, professional, and high-quality. That kind of leadership and care makes a huge difference.
Boqueria isn’t just a “special occasion” place, it’s the kind of restaurant you come back to because you want to try something new, share great food, and leave happy. We’ll absolutely be returning, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing tapas experience in West Hartford.“

“Absolutely delicious Puerto Rican food! Aqui Me Quedo is one of my go-to spots in Newington. The food is always flavorful, reasonably priced, and you can genuinely feel how much love they put into every dish. The staff is welcoming every single time I walk in, and it truly feels like a family-run gem.
My go-to order is the Pernil with yellow rice and beans — it’s unbeatable. And don’t forget the hot sauce… it’s so good!

“I ordered because a coworker had an order delivered to them earlier the same day...I smelled the deliciousness through the bag, so we decided to give them a try, the customer service was great and food was full of flavor..thank you...we ordered a buffet on 11/16 at 6:30 they close at 830 food looked good still“

“Brenda and her staff offer the amazing flavors that we love from Criollisimo restaurant in her new Sandwich shop. The decoration inside is beautiful and invite you to back visit again. The sandwiches are delicious and full of flavor, like an authentic Puerto Rican style. Highly Recommended!“
