“The young man was very polite even though I didn’t know much Spanish and he knew and was working on his English I pointed to everything and he understood it was perfect service and the food is to my liking I’m Puerto Rican but only know a little from conversation anyway they have my favorite foods , just recently found out about the store from family that visited even though I live near anyway I liked everything and will be back

“We went here tonight together my daughters father and I, with my daughters father to eat and they treated us with the upmost respect and gave us the most delicious food: being from New York it has been hard to find a place we like to eat. But at Mesa buffet they treated us well. Like family. Coming from a Polynesian Caucasian woman, with a Dominican Haitian Puerto Rican family. ❤️ gracias ah todo ❤️

Kid-friendliness: There were lots of families eating dinner together. It’s a good place for families to come together and spend time together. The staff treated us like family. And I would feel comfortable bringing my daughter here.

“I had their food for the first time tonight. I had pork shoulder, yellow rice and beans. It was all so delicious!“

“Today I stopped by and got Malanga, Arroz con Gandules and Pollo Guisado. The women serving are warm and helpful, the small space is clean and very well organized. You feel like you are with family when being served. I really loved the food. Somebody put extra effort into cooking it. The flavor of the arroz con gandules is special and delicious. The chicken, a perfect blend of sofrito, tomato and rich sauce with a few potatoes and carrots that make a good balance. Delicious! The mananga tasted fresh and a great consistency. Great contrast with the vinegar onions on top. I can't wait to go back. I really hope this place does well because they are putting a lot of love and effort into the preparation and cooking.

You can tell that someone knows how to cook and that they put a special effort into the dishes. The place is small but cozy. “Food was delicious. My sister in law was visiting from Iowa and she wanted a good mofongo. And this is the place we chose. We had it with arroz con gandules and pernil. We also tried the alcapurrias and my son went for an empanadilla de pizza. I can say that everything exceeded our expectations. Mofongo was soft and moist not dry like other places, and the right amount of crunchy. The alcapurrias were not hot but was still good. We are definitely coming back!! Definitely recommend!!“
