I was looking for a pastry shop so I could grab one of my sons trainers a Thanksgiving surprise treat. I ordered a box of pastries and another box of cake slices. Today I go in and the Neapolitan looked like some amateur made them. I was also looking to possibly buy a box of some of their almond croissants and other danishes, but they were tiny, unlike the ones I purchased the week before Thanksgiving. Not sure what is going on with this store but I am finding another pastry shop.

AVOID THIS PLACE - I am doing you a favor. Placed a birthday cake order July 8th for pickup July 12th at 9:30am. While placing the order the owner was rude which was an omen. Arrive Friday no cake, no apology just we will try and make one only after accusing the customer that maybe I dialed the wrong store which on the iPhone clearly showed the New Canaan store and length of conversation. Return 2pm July 12th and the staff doesn't know if the cake was paid for even after the owner insisted I provide a credit card in advance for the cake July 8th. Staff calls owner because they don't know if my card has been charged, she then begins yelling at my daughter about the process and wisely my daughter hands the phone back to the staff says I won't speak with her if she is yelling at me. Absolutely disgusting person and no class accepting ownership that SHE screwed up. Yelling at a customer for arriving to grab a birthday cake we ordered in advance which was never made is a terrific business model. Spoke with staff and they were horrified by the owner and apologized for her behavior. I will be spreading the word often and wide! The complaint reviews are accurate.

Have gotten pastries and desserts here a few times. The cupcake frosting was like a rock. The read was ok. No idea who there distributor is but they should change .

My co-worker told me about this place, and I definitely had to check it out. What a delicious looking selection of pastries! I'm personally not a sweets person but was having a craving today! Stopped in for a slice of tiramisu, and wow, was it delicious! Best I've ever had! They also serve food, and I hear it's amazing! Will definitely be back for lunch!

This was my second time at their New Canaan location. I went in on July 3, 2022. I asked for a large latte and a piece of cake. The girl made me a large coffee with lots of milk...without froth. I returned the cake which was inedible and the "latte" coffee. The piece of cake was very stale after my first bite. Both the manager “Nancy” and the girl said that the coffee was a latte and Nancy insisted that a latte doesn’t have any froth and that's a cappuccino.Nancy refused to make me a new latte or refund my money. Obnoxious manager! For $10 in cash....shame on you!The owner which was NOT at the store, replied back that "I received a latte" and to PM him/her back. No thanks. Train your manager/employees the proper way of treating customers!You should have a plaque on the wall stating...Rule 1 - We're always right!Rule 2 - Look at rule 1
