We visited Jerram Winery for a wine tasting with a group of friends and family on 11/4. Thank you for accommodating our group. From thehospitality from all the staff, the wine tasting and letting us bring food in to enjoy was perfect! We had such a great time. Thank you Mike and your parents. Will be visiting again. Thanks Donna

So, my husband and I visited Jerram for my birthday a few days ago. We visited over 20 years ago and had a great experience. We noticed some updates and a nice area with seating and we were excited because our intention was to grab a flight of different wines and sit outside and enjoy the picnic lunch we had packed. We were told they only do tastings because flights are too cost prohibitive because they'd have to wash all the glasses. Okay. So we did a tasting. 3 whites. 3 reds. Okay. Then the incessant right wing political yammering went on for over an hour! The 23-year old kid (he told us his age several times) talked about LGBTQ, abortion, national debt, taxes, healthcare, Nancy Pelosi, you name it. I told him repeatedly that I am about the farthest from conservative that you'll probably get in New Hartford and he just would not shut up. I expressed my views on abortion, politicians, we tried to change the subject. Nothing worked. He would just preface everything he said with "I don't know what side you're on but..." or "I don't like to get political but..." He also kept telling us how smart and well-read he is compared to other people he knows, namely friends and family. His constant spewing monopolized our whole time there and we never got a chance to have our picnic because he never stopped talking. I'm all for friendly service but this guy talked just to hear himself talk. And does not know how to read the room. Needless to say, we tried the wine and would have bought a case of two but I refused to give him another dime of our money. We paid for our tasting, left, drove to local brewery, and had our picnic in peace.

Nestled in a beautiful quiet region of CT, Jerram winery is a charming perfect representation of what CT varietals should be in a wine. Growing what the region is known for, Jerram creates quintessential representations in their wines and represents what CT Wine can be perfected to be. Olivia was a wonderful host with her sweet and friendly demeanor. Don't miss out on visiting during your CT Wine tour.

A family-owned winery for 3 generations nestled in the hills of New Hartford. Small and cozy tasting room that offers a wide variety of merchandise for sale. A total of 6 different wines are available on the tasting menus all priced at 16 to 18 dollars. If you are looking for something sweet or more on the dry side, those options are available. A wide variety of bottles of wines to choose from if you enjoy your tasting and there are also other wines by the bottles that were not available in the tasting menu. Our bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines offered. Feel free to ask for the dessert wine if you prefer something on the sweeter side. Their opening hours are May 1 through December 31Friday to Sunday 11 am to 5:00 pmJanuary through March Saturday and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4; 00 pmAdd it to your next winery hopping list.

Excellent wines, very family ( non commercial) feel to this beautiful winery. Worth a visit.

We love this place. Great people and delicious wine.

Very cute spot, unique and different wines, a more intimate experience than some of the bigger wineries where there are 30+ people around and you don't get an explanation of the wine you're tasting.

Good wines, great service, nice area for sitting outside.

Every single wine on the tasting list is fantastic. The proprietor was an ultra-gregarious host, and an expert on the wines. Tragically however, they plan to modernize their online presence, which points to the direction it will go in the future. so be sure to visit soon, before something great is crushed screaming beneath the wheels of progress.

Great CT wine, family atmosphere, run by multiple generations. The dad and son were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to make Mother’s Day special for my family and me. Even their family dog welcomed us to their property! Who could ask for more?

12.5.21 unplanned stop but oh so worth it. Family owned on approximately 12 acres, with a very friendly Mike, who helped us taste and select a couple of bottles. We stayed and enjoyed our wine while chatting with him. Love finding local gems like this in CT. Support local businesses like this. Good wine and great service.

My husband and I went to this place, I was very excited to visited that, but I came out very disappointed... The son of the owner was very RUDE AND HAUGHTY. I don't know if it was the bad treatment but I didn't think that his wines were good.....
