Beef stew hit the spot after a pot of mouses orovencale split four ways. Duck confit and seafood with squid ink pasta also delicious! No room for dessert but cocktails were tasty too.

The place was clean quite eclectic in the Yale area of New Haven. Quiet jazz playing in the background good happy hour 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time 7 days a week would definitely recommend it.

Very nice experience. It wasn't very busy so very quiet. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the menu provided enough options for the two of us who don't often agree on food. I had a well prepared salmon and my husband had a steak.

Kiet was a very attentive, knowledgeable, and thoughtful server. The mussels in white wine broth were tasty, and all the food came out piping hot. The dining room is lovely, and the staff made us napkin roses and offered wine on the house in honor of our anniversary. A very pleasant experience.

We hosted our annual business holiday party at Atelier Florian and it was a hit! The upstairs was set up perfectly with low lighting, the tables we needed for a raffle and to collect the gifts for Toys for Tots were all set when we arrived. The bartender was spot on even when we decided to unexpectedly do a toast, extra bottles of champagne were quickly brought up. We had a charcuterie board that was beautifully presented and the food from salad to salmon or pasta or steak had rave reviews from our team. Justin was amazing as well as the owner. The only challenge was the parking, however there is a parking garage right around the block within a short walking distance. We will go back. Great service, food and atmosphere.

Recently, my wife and I had the pleasure of hosting an evening reception at Atelier Florian, and we were impressed with all elements....from the scheduling to the planning to the event itself. The food, accommodations, and service were impeccable, but honestly, our greatest praise goes to the restaurant's exceptional manager, Ms. Lange King. Rarely have we encountered a hospitality leader as detailed and reliable and gracious. If you are planning a hospitality event in New Haven, you owe it to yourself to call Ms. King and check out Atelier Florian.

There were fruit flies everywhere. We changed tables thinking it would help, but no luck. I had the chicken, the presentation was nice but it was very bland. It took a while for the food to come out and my second glass of wine took forever to arrive. My girlfriend ordered the salmon and it was so bad she could barely eat it. Thankfully the server took it off the bill

They did not serve us as expected, everything was rushed, they cared more about the time to leave and close the restaurant to better worry about the attention and give comfort to the customer, it was a birthday of my brother that everything was fatal, they took the wrong food order, of the 7 people they only brought 3 dishes and subtracted it apparently they forgot the order or simply did not listen, and the kitchen was already closed, but before I was clear with the orders but unfortunately it did not go as I expected, it was my first time in the restaurant and we all had a very bad time
