John was by far and away the most attentive waiter I have ever encountered. The food was delicious, but John’s excellent service made the evening memorable.

It was bartender, Justin’s first day and he is fantastic! I am a regular at Florian and some other New Haven hot spots, and Justin has the right personality and attention to service to do this with finesse!

John was the besttttt. On top of being a friendly face, he was personable, funny, and treated us like queens! He saw me and my friend in deep conversation and knew it was time for another glass. That’s a great bartender!!! I’ve always loved this spot for happy hour or dinner, but John made it a 20/10 experience!

I recently went to Florian in New Haven with a small group of four and we all loved it. Our server John was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu selections. Personable and very accommodating. We had a lovely selection of fish appetizers and all of us had seafood for our entrees. I had the Mussels and Frites in the Mariniere sauce and it was delicious. Two people had the Lobster Ravioli and loved it and another had the Seafood Gratin dish, which he loved. Extremely happy with our first visit and can't wait to go back! Wonderful experience.

My cousin found this lovely location when searching for a brunch spot in New Haven. It was so cute inside, and the staff was so friendly and patient, especially to my two-year-old son. We started with lobster muscles which were very yummy. I wish we'd been given a spoon to eat the broth, but we took it home to enjoy later! The eggs and cheese were perfect for my son, as was the fruit bowl since it was his two favorites: strawberries and blueberries. Our meals were delicious. I had the smoked salmon benedict and was very happy with my meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly! We had a great time with great food; will definitely come again!

Went for early Sunday Brunch - for the first time there - and it was everything I'd hoped it would be: relatively quiet, super friendly and attentive staff, delicious food (salad dressing was amazing!) and overall a really great meal with my daughter. Highly recommend. We will be back for dinner!

We were delighted to discover Florian's wonderful brunch menu. Excellent blueberry pancakes and eggs Benedict along with other terrific options. Our server was energetic and very helpful. We found our new favorite brunch place steps from Yale campus.
