I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It was warm and delicious and had a sauce on it that made it unique. Definitely was a good size for the cost, as I was quite full afterwards. It took almost 30 minutes for our food to come out, which was a huge surprise to me since we were the only customers in the store.

Shoutout to B-Natural cafe for providing meals to front-line workers during the covid-19 pandemic. However if I had my choice of vegetarian food this place wasn't great. The veggies were bland and all in varied states Of cooked and left me wanting more.

My daughter and I were on our way to grab a bit at a different gluten-free friendly spot and happened to walk past B Natural so thought we'd give it a try. I am so glad we did! The selection of fresh hot flavorful grains and veggies is not to be beat. The atmosphere is clean, calm, and conducive to a relaxing dining experience, something very uncommon for downtown New Haven eating establishments. The Ethiopian inspired flavors of the Fir Fir and Doro Wat we're new to me but I am now a huge fan. The value for the price as far as freshness and portions is absolutely incredible. PSA run don't walk to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

We were hopeful despite other poor reviews. Food was ok. Menu was different on delivery site versus B Naturals website. I ordered for 4 people. We all felt the food was 'fine' because we were so hungry. Part of our order was wrong. Veggies in the bowls were not fresh. Mushrooms were canned, pretty sure broccoli was previously frozen. The freshest veggie was the scallions. Peanut butter sauce looked like it came straight from a squeeze tube, the consistency of toothpaste. Chicken was dark meat. IMO, overpriced given the quality and freshness of the food. And my friend is still hungry- I can hear her stomach growling, literally. The most pleasant part of our lunch was the Uber driver Nicole! We won't be ordering again. On the positive side- the smoothie tasted fine. Service was quick.

I ordered avocado hummus sandwich, and I expected to see avocado and hummus inside. But it turned out to be full of carrots and spinach, and weird orange color “hummus”. Why don’t you name it as carrots spinach sandwich?????? After digging through all the carrots spinach, finally I found a tiny piece of avocado.
