We were sitting for about 10-15 minutes before we were asking what we wanted to drink. It took another 15 minutes for her to ask what we wanted to eat. Food took about 30 mins to come out.

We're sat next to a large and drunk table. Couldn't hear myself think. Server disappeared for over 35 mins. No water service, drink orders, condiments, etc. disorganized and stressful experience for a pre-show meal. Food was just eh.

My experience was at their sister restaurant of Eight Proof where the drinks were perfect and the food was excellent. In fact, I had wanted a dish from their sister restaurant (Barracuda) and they obliged by bringing my the Yuka Fries. The waitress was always available and friendly. The host (I wish I remembered his name) was the BEST host in any restaurant I have ever had. He came over to check often and was so personable. How could you go wrong in a restaurant like this--excellent service, good happy hour food and drink, accommodating, and reasonable prices.

I've been to the original Barracuda and always enjoyed the food and drinks. I saw on Social Media that the moved to a new location. My wife took me for my birthday. The food was still delicious but I was a little bummed out the removed some of my favorite items off their menu. I still had some good food besides the Vegan Tostones. Those were a miss for me, the veggies lacked seasoning. My biggest disappointment were the drinks. I had 3 margaritas and they all tasted virgin. That was a big let down. I understand there's a measurement, but I should still be able to taste the tequila. Nope, just felt like drinking a fancy juice. I didn't stay long. Paid the bill and went elsewhere for drinks.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They messed up every single one of our orders then refused to help us and charged us for all the wrong, more expensive items! Horrible staff, lied to us about 80 Proof and Barracuda being separate, and were rude when we asked to speak to the manager! Who never came out to help! Awful, never going back. And you shouldn't either!

Went for New Year's Eve. Thought there would be dancing but there wasn't. DJ played 3-4 songs of salsa, cumbia, bachata and then went into latin hiphop/reggaeton or something. Had a football game on the big screen TV instead of a New Year's Eve celebration. Apps came out for 1 hr- 9-10pm then stopped. People in front of us didn't get anything. Seemed poorly organized and waiters seemed bothered by customers. We left early to celebrate elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Got food poisoning from the pernil and had to call out of work. I called to let them know and claimed they were busy so they took my name and number instead, but never called to issue my refund, but are responding to reviews online. Therefore, I would not ever recommend. Health is nothing to play with, and neither is money someone works hard for.

Ordered two orders of the Barracuda Yuca nachos Thursday night. One Pernil and one Pork belly I become very ill with food poisoning hours later. My girlfriend contacted the restaurant and still has not heard anything back. We have been to this establishment once before and will not be going back. I’m a cook myself so nothing you say can be justifiable it was a very horrible experience.
