My friends and I ordered from here and we LOVED our food. We got the drunken noodles, Indonesian bihun goreng, and curry chicken noodle soup, as well as steamed vegetarian dumplings. The portions are great and very tasty, would definitely recommend!

Nice staff, generous portions, clean and pleasantly decorated dining room but uninspired food. The fried tofu was waterlogged and flavorless, with a sweet, watery peanut sauce that didn't do much to help. The basil fried rice with chicken had very little basil and unpleasantly rubbery "chicken" of the sort that makes you question what it is you're eating. Don't like to be harsh but I would not choose to eat here again.

The food is delicious, delicious, cheap. The portions are also large, suitable for students. The service is also very good, friendly and fast.

The portion of the food is huge! The basil fried rice was good, not too oily. Although the menu marked it as spicy, I didn’t find it tastes spicy. The singapore fried rice noodles were so great that I couldn’t stop eating it (forgot to take the picture). Seems like a popular place for students. Will come to try other food recommended in reviews.

This Howe Street spot sports a "former ice cream parlor goes Asian fusion" aesthetic with all the charm of a dental office waiting room but don't let the utilitarian vibes fool you. The food arrives more quicker than a freshman's meal plan depletes, and the portions could feed the Yale men's football team.
That beef and broccoli ($11.25) comes loaded with enough fiber to make your nutritionist cry out with joy (8-10g), while the seaweed salad ($7) sports more sesame seeds than a bagel convention. The veggies snap with freshness, though the brown sauce plays it safer than a non tenured professor around them coeds.
The space, bathed in fluorescent glory and vintage turquoise walls, won't win any design awards, but it nails the clinical essentials: swift service, big big portions, and prices that remember what "reasonable" means. Plus, you're getting like 15-20g of fiber, practically a wellness influencer's fever dream.
Bottom line: Come for the surprisingly fresh veggies, stay for the efficient service, and embrace the charming lack of pretense. Just don't expect mood lighting to hide that mountain of brown rice or seal the deal on a third date. Not happening, lady.
Price: $ (Your wallet will send a thank-you note)
Vibe: Functional meets flagrant fluorescent
Best for: When substance triumphantly trumps style

Food is fair. The server didn’t allow me to sit at a larger table even though the restaurant was not crowded and no other dine-in customers were coming in. I had to choose between a very small space or a larger table near the door where cold wind was coming in. I was disappointed with their seating arrangement. The server asked me to tip and said tipping is their policy. I still tipped 17% out of courtesy. Overall, I’m disappointed with the seating policy and would not recommend this place.

Very good restaurant. The owner is super kind and very accommodating when guests have allergies and other dietary restrictions. The prices are also insanely reasonable. I am shocked at how much food you get for the price. I usually get the same thing every time, but I've never had a bad dish here. I always recommend this place to people and for good reason. Probably my favorite (non-pizza) restaurant in New Haven!
