Some of the best delivery Chinese food in New Haven. I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and the green beans. The noodles were chewy and savory, and the green beans, which elsewhere are overcooked or undercooked, had just the right texture here and good seasoning: they taste like fresh vegetables well-cooked, not raw vegetables that were lightly heated.
IMO: Don't bother with anywhere else.
FWIW: my Chinese food experience comes from New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles--not from China. So I don't know what's 'authentic,' just what's good in the way of urban dining. Most Chinese food in New Haven doesn't match what you can get in other big American cities.

19.99 seafood tofu dish, I will call it bowl of tofu with tiny bit smallest shrimp and a handful of squid that is it. Cheating dish.
Decent lunch special options.
Overall the food is slightly oily for me.

Don't get the beef noodle soup; it's bland and doesn't look appetizing.

The best Chinese food in New Haven, but not perfect—especially if you're from China. You'll probably agree that even their spiciest dishes don't come close to being truly spicy.

It was good ambience however the food was not at par at to what was expected and hyped on various media platforms. I have tasted better places such as Taste of China nearby.

Decided to give Chef Jiang a try after the closing of Great Wall. I went with a friend who is actually from Sichuan. The food was overpriced, and bland, with the primary flavor being pure salt. Even for New Haven standards, you can find much better options.
We appreciate the service, however, with waters always being quickly refilled.
Had a fabulous lunch at this spot. The pickled bean and ground pork noodle soup was out of this world, and the crab meat pork xiaolongbao were better than most I have had in the US. For more American style Chinese, the lo mein was also quite delicious. 5 stars, great little spot. My friend and I both agreed we would visit all the way from Boston just to eat here again if the mood struck.

Wonderful service, great food and we didn’t feel rushed coming in around 8pm
Great recommendations and Chef Jiang visited our table and thanked us. Sweet and sour fish, cumin lamb, crispy cucumber and shrimp shu Mai were all on point. Will be coming back soon!
