Went here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I was not impressed with the foods. Portion was small and food came out so slow we were so hungry. They had two branches one in New Haven and another in Farmington. We might not come here again. My sister told me they had different chefs. Maybe we had a not so good one. We went on a Sunday!

Did not plan to eat at Chef Jiang's but I'm so glad we did! Personally, my favorite dine-in Chinese restaurant. The hot pot was absolutely delicious. Great vegan options for me and meat options for my husband. Will definitely be back

We come here every day because the food is so good and we’re definitely not the only regulars!! Would highly recommend the fish soup酸菜鱼, “thousand leaf”tofu 千页豆腐, mapo tofu 麻婆豆腐and fried pumpkin dessert南瓜饼 to wrap up the meal. Chinese New Year here was also fantastic - there was so much variety to the food and it was so easy to plan a get together. The staff is also super thoughtful!

This is without question, the best Chinese food I've ever had. Very clean and crisp too, not greasy at all. Their menu has both authentic, and American Chinese options, so you can get your classic fav or try for something that might be looking at you when it comes to the table. This will probably be my spot to take guests who come to visit from out of town. It's very flavourful and the portions are also sharing size.

Picked up lunch today- good but not great. We had the sweet and sour ribs- very little meat and all on the bone so difficult to eat- beef lo mein good flavor but pieces of beef way too tiny. Garlic chicken ok- no egg rolls on the menu- spring rolls good. Generally small portions and $57.00 for lunch....won't be running back

The Mala sea bass is so salty as to be inedible. The flavor was terrific but, the salt content made it dangerous. I've eaten here a number of times with good results but this was unacceptable.

Went to try the soup dumplings one evening, place was busy and I was a walking as a single. They were able to accommodate me and ordered the pork soup dumplings and chef Jiang's fried rice. Received the rice which was fabulous... waited for the dumplings for a while and finally asked the server if they were coming and he was surprised they were not served. He said it will be 10 minutes more as the order was not made in the system. I declined and asked for a check. Disappointed as the only reason I decided to try this restaurant was the soup dumplings... may give it another try one day.

The most authentic Chinese food in the area! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try something new. Would most definitely come back for the broiled fish and peiking duck.

Mongolian beef was quite salty and the steamed sea bass could have used a lot more ginger, but overall it was a respectable meal.

So the decor and inside is lovely, very comfy seats, clean. However my friend ordered a tofu dish as a vegetarian and they cooked it with tofu and pork (not specified on the menu, that there was any pork) they did take the dish back and took it off the bill but that's a red flag for anyone who is vegetarian going here having any tofu dish it's probably not vegetarian at all. We had tea which I think was jasmine, there's not alcohol and the only other options are canned sodas. The white rice was nice, the dishes were brought out staggered so one persons meal and then the other persons meal 5 -10 mins later. I wouldn't return.
