The owners, Fred and Patty, are welcoming and sweet, while the staff is incredible. From crab cakes to eggplant parmigiana, the food is exquisite, with sandwiches on homemade bread and a variety of sweets like the signature butter finger chewy. The menu also features a traditional chicken salad that has received high praise for being delicious, as well as beautiful pies, especially the Key Lime Pie, which has been a favorite among customers. Many visitors enjoy the relaxing environment and the friendly staff, finding it easy to order and highly recommend the place. The Lemon Meltaways are described as a little slice of heaven. Chestnut offers fresh-baked whole wheat bread and a veggie deli selection, making it a perfect spot for dine-in, takeout, or catering.
