They have many plant based options, from deserts to salads, wraps, pasta etc. I ate a lemon-blueberry coconut loaves which was sweet but good. You can say that you are vegan and the personal will give recommendations.
Love the vibes here, and of course the vegetarian-ness. Flavors not all my favorite, but the dish was undeniably very filling, and the smoothie lovely to top it off.
Went there for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Tried tofu scramble with side of toast and Lithuanian GF, V cupcake. Both were pretty good Many items that can be made vegan so always something to choose from Just wish they had better selection of vegan desserts.
I love this place, and appreciate the wealth of clearly-labeled vegan options. It can be expensive, though, and if you’re tight on time do not go during the lunch rush as it could take over half an hour to get your food.
I came here to meet up with an old friend. The menu board is huge and it was a bit overwhelming to figure out what to order. I ended up getting the pasta with vegan meatballs with vegan mozzarella. It was a large serving and delicious. My friend had the roasted vegetable salad and it was also very good. We were able to stay a while and visit which was really nice.
The best!

Will always and should always be one of the best places in New Haven ❤️
As a new resident of downtown New Haven, I was delighted to discover a few dog-friendly restaurants, and Claire’s has quickly become one of our go-to spots. After being turned away from a couple of other places, including some shops at Yale and a Korean bakery on Chapel Street, it was such a relief to find a welcoming atmosphere here for both my dog Coco and me. The warm reception and excellent service have made this a favorite, and I can already tell we’ll be coming here for years as we settle into our new home in New Haven.

Good location with outdoor seating, close to the green. People are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is relaxed. While there were many options, food itself was underwhelming and portion was very big. Parking was a challenge but there is a paid lot as a last resort. Go for a bite, stay for the relaxed atmosphere and solid location. I would come back here to try other dishes.

Good location with outdoor seating, close to the green. People are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is relaxed. While there were many options, the food itself was underwhelming. Parking was a challenge but there is a paid lot as a last resort. We tried the black bean burrito which fell apart as i picked it up, definitely get utensils here. We also got a snickerdoodle, a pumpkin whoopie pie, a lithuania coffee cake, the chocolate chip ricotta cake, and blueberry scone. The bakery items were the best part of the place.

I’m buying something so I can use the bathroom. The bathroom has a wonderful scent and is very clean. A few spiderwebs in the top corner but nothing for aracnaphobes to worry about. The toilet seat was comfortable and cool but not cold. The flush was quick and satisfying even while requiring a decent amount of force to activate. The faucet was weak and cold.

Enjoyed everything. Loved the mushroom truffle burger! My toddler loved the refried pinto bean and cheese quesadillas. We ordered way too much food. Portions were enormous. The chocolate chip ricotta cake was very nice and not too sweet. The restaurant was pretty full and there was a long wait to order and get our food so I recommend factoring in wait time to your visit.

Definitely a bit pricey for college and graduate students, but the atmosphere and delicious food are unparalleled. I understand why locally sourced, sustainably raised, and hand crafted food costs as much as it does. Will return from time to time to enjoy this New Haven haunt.
