I absolutely LOVE Claire’s. The food is phenomenal and offers a decent amount of variety for people like me who have a lot of food restrictions due to health. Everyone is always so friendly when I come in too, I’ve never dealt with a mean employee.

Fun location for Sunday brunch or any other cafe type meal. Very generous portions and an excellent dining value.

One of the nice, cosy vegan cafes. It’s right on yale campus so it proved to be a nice brunch spot followed by a walk around the campus. The grilled cheese was really good.

If you're in New Haven you HAVE to eat here. Don't be scared by the vegetarian menu even if you aren't vegetarian. Every thing (especially the baked goods) are incredible!

The avocado toast is great. It's not an ordinary avocado paste on toast. They did more than that.

We stopped in for a quick bite on a rainy afternoon. It feels like a cozy spot, and you need to snag a table after ordering. The menu is decent, and we ordered three florentine grilled cheeses, two seltzers and a vanilla cupcake. It's weird that they serve sandwiches but don't serve chips. That came out to $47, which felt steep. It took about 15 minutes for the food to come out, even though it didn't seem that busy at the time. The food was solid enough. The bread was tasty, as were the mozzarella, tomatoes and spinach. It did feel kind of unremarkable though, especially for the price. The cupcake was actually really tasty, so maybe it's a better spot for baked goods.

The environment is very inviting and has views of the New Haven Green. The menu is beyond extensive- with something for everyone. Food portions were large and delicious. Staff was kind and attentive as well. Be sure to bring change/use the parking app as we almost got a ticket. The management was quite personable and professional, and we very much enjoyed our experience.

Wow. Never seen a Kosher Restaurant with this much class. Didn't even know it was Kosher till after we left. WOULD return just given their creative menu items though..

Quick counter service with helpful patient cashiers. Loved not being forced to tip! Great diner foods and lots of vegan options! We especially liked nachos, quesadilla, and baked sweets. ?

I'm a New Haven native so I'm well aware of what a staple Claire's Corner Copia is. My oldest sister used to work here when she was in college and would bring home the carrot cake for us every time she worked. Now being a full time vegan/vegetarian (don't ask), I knew exactly where to go when I was home visiting. Got here on Valentine's Day at 3:30pm to grab a late lunch with a close friend and I never realized how extensive the menu is. From sandwiches, to salads, Mexican entrees, flatbreads and etc., it was kind of a lot and a bit overwhelming. I ended up getting the BBQ tofu pizza and it fell short. When I got it, I noticed it wasn't cooked all the way and I had to send it back to the kitchen. Even after that, it wasn't tasty and was actually a mess. I assumed since Claire's has been in the vegetarian game for years, the food would be exceptional. It wasn't. Plus, they only give you a table spoon of guacamole and charge $7. Smh. Their carrot cake is really good though.

Really, delicious enough. Gobs of vegan and GF pastries, pies and cakes. And enormous menu, daily specials, vegetarian made vegan choices. Durable wooden tables and chairs I hope are from the hippy era. Probably no parking, across from Yale Art Gallery.Slow to dawdling order process. Food comes out fast and was quite delish.Wishing I could return…

One of the few places in downtown New Haven to sit and grap a cup of coffee. They don't rush you.

First of all, for the love of God, PLEASE bring back paper menus. It is so difficult to read the chalkboard, and not everyone has a cell phone on them all the time. It cheapens the whole experience. Delicious food, but water glasses are teeny tiny, one of the servers is really spacey, the tables wobble like CRAZY, and food comes out at different times for the same party (not just ours-- I've seen it happen at other tables, sometimes 10 minutes apart). Get your food to go. It's usually too fussy to dine in. For recommendations: miso Caesar dressing over an organic vegetable salad, and the barbecue veggie burger. Very tasty.

I’ve paid 15$ for canned beans, canned corn and disgusting lettuce on a whole wheat
