This is one of the best places to find vegan food. Upstairs, there is a small clothing boutique and a health store with natural toiletry items and vitamins. On the main level, there is a pretty good sized grocery store that also includes a bulk foods section. Also on the main floor, is a bakery (at least half of which is vegan) and an area where you can order delicious hot food.
Fantastic selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The bakery is amazing. I love the by the pound bean, granola, fruits and nuts. The Wildflower honey is amazing
Good place to find organic products and ingredients. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Great products, and customer friendly
Always fresh. Love this place. Good quality fruits and veggies. Also high quality buffet. Must try the vegan carrot cupcakes.
This place is darling and fills me with waves of nostalgia. If you miss a good old-school health food store, and Whole Foods doesn't do it for you, you will love this place. They have a darling little cafe where you can get vegan pastries and strong coffee. You can even get a shot of wheatgrass juice. Remember when wheatgrass juice was a thing?! They have a good bulk foods section and bulk herbs too. Where can you find carob soy milk? At Edge of the Woods. They even have a bulletin board full of Community goings on. Love it so much.
Loved the choices of produce. It had a good atmosphere
My favorite market in New Haven. Tons of options, fresh produce, and great service.
This is the best store ever hands down!!!!!!!!
Very clean and a great variety, helpful and friendly staff!

Little pricey, but well worth it I'd rather pay a little more now for good food, then pay for pharmaceuticals and healthcare 30 years from now then eating crappy processed shit now...
Love all the organic bulk items they have. I buy my lentils, beans, farro, and prepared foods. When I don't feel like cooking, I'll pick up prepared hot food, or, my favorite, cold tofu salad.
I love the health and beauty section and I love the bakery. but there’s a serious issue with food safety here for some of the prepackaged items. I have unfortunately taken home 3 items that were spoiled over the course of the past several years :/ I hope management addresses this soon
General idea about health possibilities
Their little bakery inside was amazing but their food shop workers seemed either stressed beyond measure or fed up. I am not sure if they are under-staffed or over-worked but either way it was a bit jarring, especially when things kept being pushed back in wait time or just delivered wrong. I did finally get what I ordered and did enjoy everything. Grocery store was neat too.
