What creative and delicious small plates! Get there early for best selection as options may be out later into the night
They make some of the tastiest and most creative dishes using Yuba that I've had. It's decadent to have a meal of small plates with great drinks and then catch a set in an intimate setting upstairs. Music is always great in the bar too.
I ate here for my veganniversary and absolutely loved the ambiance, all of the food, and the drinks šš½
Great atmosphere. The bartenders were the sweetest. Very good service. Definitely a cool spot to grab some drinks and schmooze
Best venue to see a show in Connecticut. A unique and essential experience. I keep forcing friends who say they donāt like jazz to go, and they keep genuinely enjoying it. Combine the studio with a lively bar with a superb liquor selection and immaculate vibe? I donāt know how they get me to leave every time I go.
Beautiful intimate jazz venue! I love this place!
i love this place, the staff is so amazing and friendly and the atmosphere is unreal. feels like a nyc speak easy- def a hidden gem! the cocktails are amazing and the menu has small portions, similar to ātapasā style, we will def be back this place ROCKS ??
Absolutely gorgeous venue.
We stopped in for drinks and dinner on a Saturday night. Firehouse 12 is in an old firehouse and we ate downstairs with a great atmosphere and cozy, speakeasy vibe. Partner ordered wine (generous pour) and I wanted something non-alcoholic. The bartender created a lovely, fall-spiced mock-tail for me that was delicious. The food was outstanding. We started with grilled eggplant in coconut curry, and shared the shawarma. Both were amazing with rich flavor and textures. We shared the Rebel cheese board, such a treat! And finished our meal with homemade vegan gelato & corn cake with sweet and spicy peanuts. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and the space is intimate. Highly recommend!
Super fun little speak easy, very nostalgic

Scary seeing no black people or artists at a jazz bar. Charged $20 for cover too. Gentrification is real
love the drinks here and itās such an intimate space! came for an event and had so much fun, the music was really good and everyone was enjoying themselves. even though itās a small space thereās lots of seating, even for bigger groups.
Best air conditioning in the state! Sounds pretty good too.
Beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere. The food is delicious and the cocktails are as creative as they are tasty.
The space is really cool but unfortunately after 20 minutes of being ignored and getting sick of hearing the bartender complain we left to go get a drink elsewhere.
