10/10 spot for pizza and good times. Now I usually dont like raw tomatoes but the Fresh Tomato Pie was to die for. It's Fresh Native Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Basil, Garlic, Grated Pecorino Romano & Olive Oil and eating inside is also something else because you're able to step back in history live vicariously through all of the old photos. If you like pizza, and haven't been to Pepe's.... you're missing out!

Great authentic charcoal fired New Haven pizza! Little Italy is charming here, with so many great restaurants packed into a small area. You will have to wait, but lines move quickly and it's worth it. Must try!

Fantastic pizza, dessert, beer and service! The OG coal fired pizza place.

Some of the best pizza in the world.

The pizzas are always good. I haven't sat down inside to eat but there seems to be good conversations going on. The bacon and onion pizza and the white clam pizza are favorites.

Nothing to travel for

Bacon pizza is outstanding. They use pieces of real bacon slices, not prepackaged bacon bits.

The pizza is so overpriced for what you get- so surprising and disappointing.

I visited Frank Pepe’s for the second time, more than five years after my first visit. Surprisingly, nothing seemed to have changed during those five years. The same long line outside, and the same high quality pizza the restaurant is known for.
What really stood out this time, however, was the ceiling fans. They were spinning like windmills, blasting cold air directly onto the customers. It was so cold that it was impossible to relax, enjoy the pizza, or stay comfortably for very long.
When you’re seated directly beneath one of those fans, your main focus becomes finishing your meal as quickly as possible so you can escape the freezing air. For a moment, I even thought it might have been a good idea to bring a blanket just to stay warm while eating.
To be honest, I barely remember how the pizza tasted. What I do remember is how uncomfortable I was because of the constant cold air from the fan. I asked our server if it could be turned down, but she explained that the fans operate automatically and cannot be adjusted manually.
The pizza is excellent, but the dining experience would be much more enjoyable if the restaurant could address this issue.

food is great. Definitely would drive back to Connecticut to try it again. Service is good. Pizza is over the moon. You have to try the extra pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza. I really recommend that The Parmesan cheese Melts in your mouth the red pepper flakes very spicy but so good. The Caesar salad with croutons is over this world would definitely try again if I was in Connecticut.
