busy cafe, delicious salmon pragel!
I order from G Bakery all the time and on the day of my sister’s wedding, the order was totally wrong. I called and was told, “ sorry ask uber for a refund”. No offer to make it right. GBakery, I love your food but you have to do better than this!
Been to the Branford location and had a fine experience but our lunch here was very disappointing. Our sandwiches were lacking ingredients and the bread was hard. Service was inpatient and unfriendly. There were no available tables for 2 of us to sit and eat as many people were sitting with their computers.
Went to this place before going to the Peabody museum and it was a nightmare. Ordered pastries, sandwiches, and bread. The pastries had a cream that had a stale taste and had to throw away. The sandwiches were cold and the bacon had the white fat residue and the bread burned. They offered to slice the Mediterranean bread and 1/2 of it was missing with only the crust placed inside the bag so she left the rest inside the machine.
So the experience was not good and that was just the food (+$100). The place was dirty, garbage overflowing, and the staff was not friendly or able to discuss the menu. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Friendly neighbor not much parking. I have not tried the food and bake goods but it does smell delicious as you’re walking in. The bread is a must 45 and Josephine my favorite.
If the coffee stay cold it don’t gotta get cold
Oh my goodness this place was so delicious! The cream croissant was just delightful!
They have great croissants and service got better recently
- A lot of people come in here to buy loaves of bread.
- I wish they had halal menu items offered here.
- The service here was very slow.
- hours of operation are limited (wish it was open later)
- Very limited coffee menu flavors & options. Overall drink menu needs improvement& variety.
The bread here is amazing, the egg and cheese was definitely fresh & cheesy. The everything crossaint was okay. The star of the show was the blueberry Cronut.
The lemonade was quite regular like boxed lemonade. Wouldn’t get twice.
The vibes here are nice, but it is expensive.
The food came out in pretty dishes which was nice for the vibe.
Clean nice place for a break. No comfy chairs, just wood tables and chairs. Clean WC. Short lines. Super expensive coffee, though, 6$ for cappuccino. Served in paper cups. Nice background music. Basic food stuff, croissant, nothing special. Expensive though.
Not a bad place. Just not a great place.

Decent service but - a cafe with no wifi? Please fix it this asap.
The employee needs to be advised how and what kind of meals he has. They could not confirm if there were foods for celiacs.

More or less an average chocolate Au pain. $4.55 or something. Bathroom was clean. Cafe is airy and had a decent amount of people seated but not too loud

We arrived just as the kitchen was closing but chef came out and took our order. We were delighted!
