Wonderful Indian restaurant in New Haven easily walkable from the Yale university. Service is quick and attentive. The portions are large and our group of three found in difficult to finish the dishes though they were quite delish . The cocktails are worthy of mention too. Certainly would visit again if in this part of the country

P.S. I am VERY picky
This is a wonderful restaurant in Yale campus area, with decent amount of sitting spots and a large bar as well. The menu has lots of popular Indian appetizers, entrees, biryani, sides and drinks. The tandoori chicken, naan and shrimp korma were really good. Biryani was little disappointing, chicken was dry and it wasn’t cooked the authentic biryani way. The appetizers were average. But the rice pudding was incredible, favorite item of the day for me. I liked the mango lassi too.
The service was good. Our server was attentive. Despite being very busy, they managed to bring out the dishes within decent time.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian small dishes, entrees, sides and salad available
Parking: Street parking free on Sunday and after meter hours on weekdays/Saturday.

Tikka. Masala. Fries. They are so good! The service here was very friendly and helped us pick new things to try that we would like. The mural on the wall is also really nice and adds to the atmosphere.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is very authentically Indian. The service is as if you are family.
Khrishna was our host and took care of us table side. His recommendations were spot on. Though the Lamb Sliders were an Indian take on an American bar food, one bite and you know it absolutely and unmistakably Indian.
The Tandoori Chicken was soft, juicy and very flavourful. Served over a bed of marinated and grilled onions and vegetables.
The Naan basket was a hit. Tye cheese pull of the Cheese Naan was awesome. It's a basket of 3 different types of Naan.
The Dessert ? was Ras Malai was not too sweet but flavors of cardamom, rose water and cream drenching cheese balls.
I've traveled the world and have over 58M views of my reviews. The food here is absolutely awesome and tye service was equally great.

Came for the lunch special, their Korma sauce is spectacular. Vegetable samosas were great, as well as the garlic naan. All of the food we got was incredibly flavorful.
